Jim :eek: don't tell me you've been playing that les paul more

 

I just finished restringing mine... after complaining about it for a year and a half, I decided to put lighter A and D strings on (standard 10's gauge) with a .052 for the 6th string. Feels much easier to play that way and doesn't rattle as much.

 

Maybe I can stop worrying and put it in standard tuning for once

Heck yes, finally had a bit of luck finding an upright and in a shop near my university too.

$1,500 and it's mine. So probably around start of June then. :D

 

I was in the shop for about half an hour playing this. By about 5 minutes, I was already jamming out some Jamiroquai. Bit too much to do tapping on but the sound was so rich. Will have to get better with intonation and eventually learn some arco. :D
