Niall
On a slightly less spectacular note, it was kinda unfair for the first half of the European tour to not get MK Ultra, having paid £45 to see The Resistance Tour and have some of its fan favourite, finest moments ignored. Muse suck Yep. I went to one O2 night and got the exact same set list as we had in Dublin except it wasn't as fun as I wan't at barrier. If I hadn't had gotten guest list tickets I would have been extremely angry to have paid for it. It was my tenth and worst Muse gig ever. And they are becoming like a parody of Spinal Tap. Everything is just so over the top it makes Absolution and OoS seem subtle in comparison. It's sad.
Super Sammy!
There is a line that Muse have crossed. They were epic. Then, they tried to hard to be even more epic, and that only creates cheesyness. They can't even keep the fans happy by following the setlist polls, and it's hardly like all the polls have songs they haven't played in years/ever. ONE SONG is all they needed. But, no. Fuck you, Muse. I don't even know why I bother caring anymore.

Interzone
If they do actually play any songs from the top five of the polls at the other stadium dates (which I'm pretty sure they won't), it would be a kick in the teeth for people who voted for and went to the Bern gig. control
The festivals will be better than their actual gigs. They have to sell muse the band. Once they've sucked you in then its the meerkat in space travelling theater  But with a twist of "Hotel California", some of us can never leave!  Yep. a-museing
I just really expected better of them. :(I wouldn't have minded the setlist they played tonight if they hadn't said they would play the other songs. It's a good setlist but there's nothing special about it. It seems like they are on autopilot when it comes to setlists these days. Â I wonder why they even bothered having the setlist polls tbh. Why would you bother getting peoples hopes up?

Either way we now all realise that it was a marketing strategy to get more tickets sold... much like was said in the beginning. Why on earth would they put songs such as Hysteria and Knights on there if it was them truly allowing fans to have a say about their set list? Â Glastonbury is going to be awesome, I don't think that I will bother with Wembley though.

Especially since HAARP was one of my favourite Muse gigs... don't really want that spoilt for me with this trollop. Even in 2007 they had some variety.  I think that the festival gigs are going to be far better than the stadium gigs - I will definitely see them at Glasto and maybe hang around at the back for Oxegen. K41
I didn't buy UK stadium tix cos I thought this would happen, Muse talk so much shit. One of the O2 gigs was also my 10th gig and worst Muse gig ever; the new stuff really doesn't stand up live. The content and length of the gigs they're doing at the mo really isn't good enough and is definitely not made up for by the extravagant stage etc. Think they've lost the plot. I really don't like The Resistance, and with NSC, it doesn't seem like they're gonna go bk to the old Muse I fell in love with. Saddens me, as I never thought it would happen, but thinks it's time to forget about Muse and accept the way they've gone and just be happy with the amazing gigs I did get to go to
MuseRLegend
From what I can see, the only people complaining are those who didn't actually go to te gig last night. All of those who did say it was fantastic, so I think we shouldnt speculate too much unless we experienced it ourselves. And yes, its unfair that the polls were ignored, but maybe there is a reason (and dont say its because Muse are crap). Maybe Matt has a cold and cant sing the notes in CE this week. I'm sorry, but this is just ignorance. Â 1. No one is saying it was a BAD gig, just that Muse are WORSE than they could be. 2. What notes do CE have that their other songs don't have really? Chocolate E. Clare
its too early to be making judgements about this tour when weve only had 1 small gig, 1 festival and 1 stadium gig, the first 2 of which were good, the second of which.....not so much they stuck to the setlist poll for the festival, and the casino de paris gig had bliss and CE so its not exactly unlikely theyll play them on the rest of the tour. last night was probably just one slip-up and theyll hopefully play the rest of the setlist poll results on the rest of the tour and if they do play the setlist poll results on the rest of the tour then YES it is unfair on those who went last night, but its a damn sight better than NOBODY getting the them. Sorry, but this is lolworthy. Â 1) Nobody said it wasn't a fantastic gig. 2) Everybody is complaining about the fact that the polls were ignored which you have just said was unfair. 3) Maybe Matt, if he did have a cold (Er, wut?), could have chosen one of the other 4 songs in the poll. They said, quote, "The band will endeavour to include at least one from the top five in the setlist at each show!". Â There is no reason for not following what they said. It's just ignorant, and nasty for the fans. It really shows how much they care about us.
