TastyBassRiff54 Posted January 4, 2009 Share Posted January 4, 2009 i dont think you can get keeley modded pedals in shops in australia, so i guess if youre gonna get one youll have to rely on hearsay.. ive heard, however, that the modded DS-1 sounds like an old cranked marshall, and the MT-2 is high gain, but ballsy The Keeley DS1 is the most beautiful distortion I've ever played. Gotcha. ha true, but you could use it as a clean boost with the drive down and the volume up. sometimes you get a really good tone like that. I used to do it with an OD-2.
