    I just downloaded an mp3 of Christian Bale's rant at some lights guy today. It's pretty hilarious, and I think I'll be able to do something fun with it.

    I like it. It does unexpected things EDIT: it also sort of reminds me of the Sin City theme, which is very badass.

    I listened to about half of it. The piano sound really bugged me. It seemed far too bright, especially compared to the heaviness of the rest of the parts. I feel like you could be doing something more interesting with the piano part's rhythm as well.

    I don't know what you downloaded, but that isn't Reaper. A commercial Reaper license is over $200, and it doesn't have a trial limit.

    Yup! I use Reaper for recording right now, and it's very nice. It supports all the plug-in types I've heard of, as well as a good few I haven't, can host VSTi's and do all the editing and mastering stuff. Easily the best solution, especially if you don't plan on making money, therefore not needing to pay anything.

    Not bad. I don't feel like that bassline you grabbed from Newborn really fits the rest of the song though.
