HappyDancer
Probably the best song on Absolution. It sounds so pretty and sad.
spark_
Probably the best song on Absolution. It sounds so pretty and sad. Exceptional song. Probably the best single orchestrally-driven song they've ever done. Anyone have the strings version from HAARP?

Micro Citizen
I've loved blackout ever since I first heard it. It's kind of strange because it's not a very rocky song but it's still such a great song.

spark_
Yes- if you go on youtube and search "haarp strings blackout" my video with the song is first. Found it, thanks anyway. Whilst I was looking around, I found this: http://www.muselive.com/forums.php?m=posts&q=30418 The final verse, where the strings just go to their absolute peak, is I think almost exactly how it should sound if they play it with an orchestra. callmealejandro
Blackout is their best slow song. And it needs to come back into the setlists, it's too beautiful to miss out. I agree with this completely. edit: I love when the distorted guitar comes in. (don't know what the official term for it is... but yea i think most people will get it, haha)

Travis III
The first Muse song I ever heard, and currently my favourite. The vocals, melody, lyrics and arrangement are all sublime. Actually, I was initially quite disappointed that they don't have more songs like it.
Bumpypotato
When I first heard it I was just getting into Muse. It's beautiful, one of my favorite's Takes me right back to 2008
BigDZerilli
Yes! I love this song, and its one of the three (alongside Starlight and New Born) that got me into Muse! I wish they would play it live again, its awesome!
RayFan9876
I only heard it a while after I got into Muse, but I have nothing negative to point out about it. It is exactly what it's meant to be, and it executes it perfectly.
