I've seen two incredible Muse encores in my time.

1. Dead Star > Micro Cuts

2. Micro Cuts > Stockholm Syndrome > Take A Bow

If everyone remembers the Earls Court ending to Micro Cuts, they slowed it down to a standstill and it rocked. So, here is the best encore EVER.

Dead Star > Micro Cuts (EC outro) > Stockholm Syndrome > Take A Bow

I maintain TaB is still the best closer Muse have ever produced, especially with the extra 'duh-duh-duh-duh!' ending they put on live.

Yup I've always loved TaB as an outro. And I wonder why they didn't do that Micro Cuts EC outro more often. It was absolutely incredible especially in its first night placement.

Everything said here. That Micro Cuts ending is one of the best thing Muse ever played live :awesome:

Nah, SS > TaB is just better.

You can still have the massive rock-out ending on SS but then with a proper epic closer on top - it just makes more sense to me. Three powerful, drop-D heavyweights and then a more epic, cinematic piece like TaB. Works perfectly.

Not so much a specific perfect setlist but my ideas on what would be the perfect next tour which while technically quite reasonable, won't happen:

-22 songs a night

-some sort of small string/brass section brought on tour to be used in some songs

-6 or 7 random new songs a night

-from The Resistance, Uprising and full Exogenesis every night (I'm counting Exo as 3 songs), plus one other random song from the album

-10/11 songs left to be distributed to a selection from the first four albums, from a pool of 5 songs each album minimum (except Showbiz, which gets maybe two)

If COD comes back, I might actually go to a Muse gig again.

You were at the most recent Muse gig AND told me then that you prefer The Resistance to any other album by Muse. So why don't you want to go to another Muse gig? Or where you real life trolling?

No, I really do like TR better than any other Muse album. The lazy live performances and repetitive set lists put me off.

Part of the reason I went to Reading was the fact that I was guaranteed to see OOS in full which was something different for once. I'm not guaranteed this on the new tour.

I decided that it would be my Muse swansong barring an amazing sixth outing.
