I haven't heard muse in radio or any place specific... i once played KoC in the morning assembly.

 

Of course i hear it everyday 'cause i listen to it 8 D

Uprising was just played on ABC (during a football game) and on the bottom of the screen on the left hand side it had the name of the song and Muse.

That was pretty cool.

 

And Uprising is #7 on the VH1 Top 20 Video Countdown.

In the Miami -- North Carolina game on ESPN, Brian Griese just used the phrase "collateral damage" in his final comments on a series, followed by the bumper to the commercial break. The song on the bumper was [a few seconds' worth of] "Uprising".

 

Well, I wouldn't expect a sports program to use USE, now...

Just now on ESPN I heard Resistance. I'm in the next room and my dad's watching a football game, and somehow in the midst of me blasting The Dead Weather, I heard it in some montage of fat guys tackling.

Wow that's an awful rendition. She obviously can sing but she seems to be behind and rather than performing a song she's trying to showcase her voice. The end result feels quite calculated and hollow.

 

I've started hearing UD quite reqularly on one local radio channel and I'm assuming the others will follow soon. It's weird really, Uprising and UD having such big mainstream popularity.

I didn't hear it but my dad was talking to me yesterday and he was excited that the purdue band was playing a Muse song and that made me so proud that he even recognized it! I just wish I'd heard it. He said that he's heard them a lot lately on his satelite radio and expected me to be annoyed that they're getting more popular in the states and I explained to him that it's about time they explode over here even though it will be slightly annoying to have everyone know about them-- it was probably the best conversation I've ever had with my dad in my entire life.

 

Oh and he also recognized Uprising in the V commercials. I really think he's becoming a fan

The Beeb have been using muse songs all the way through the 09 season, used butterflies and hurricanes on their season roundup most recently, with "best, you've got to be the best" over a montage of jenson button, slightly cheesy but i'll let it pass
