mskatie
In my opinion this is the best performance, vocally, of Blackout. The little bit Matt does at the end gives me the tingles. I can't watch the video

Nipso
That song had so much potential. Still can't grasp how some people think it sunds almost identical to GOB. They're no more different than Dead Star studio and .
kueller
I'm so glad they reworked the verses in Dead Star for the final version.
Nipso
Was that before Dead Star was released? Didn't know that, huh.
kueller
Dead Star was released in 2002. When you see performances from that year they start to play it like the album version (even with the studio intro which they stopped doing by Abso tour). Clunge
I wish he'd shout and scream it a bit more - it does indeed sound pretty ace there. WARM MY HEART TONIGHHHHHHTTTTTTTTT!!!!!
Jobby
Not the best performance but damn Chris' vocals sound harsh and gritty. God damn, love his voice during that bit. I'm praying that they bring back TSP for the 20th anniversary gigs (if/when there are any). I think his vocals at the Etihad are the best I've heard from him as far as Liquid State is concerned. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-PqpZHSlL6g
FabriPav
mmm, I think he sounds quite flat at around 1:07 in there.
Alec Ferris
I wish he'd shout and scream it a bit more - it does indeed sound pretty ace there. WARM MY HEART TONIGHHHHHHTTTTTTTTT!!!!! I'm hoping he does that on future albums.
Nipso
I wish he'd shout and scream it a bit more - it does indeed sound pretty ace there. WARM MY HEART TONIGHHHHHHTTTTTTTTT!!!!! I wish he'd do it a bit more throatily (that's a word, according to Firefox spell check). Also that they'd add a riffy outro like they did with Uprising. jbyun04
Madness first performance because of the "I need your love" vocals: MK Ultra @ RAR 2010 because of the OoS scream at 2:25 and Matt's actually rocking out to the riff right after for once instead of just walking around: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ci_kCpgpljE Edit: Was watching that gig again, adding Hysteria to that list: Love that outro in place of the riff. Matt's Jawbone
Hullabaloo performance of Citizen Erased is how it should be. Fast, heavy and rocking.
TrebleRose689
Certainly wouldn't call this the "best", but I really love the improvised riffing at the end of this version of KoC (it's at about 6:10). Of all the times I've heard this song live, this version stood out because I really liked that part I did some poking around on YouTube and couldn't find another performance where he does it quite like this (not to say he never has, I'm sure there are several riff variations he rotates between. But this is the ony time I've heard this one, and it's my favorite out of what I've heard ). http://youtube.com/watch?v=Qwlj_HFLZ7M Edited July 15, 2013 by TrebleRose689

For example here from 2006 (at 5:10) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0kYlePBE5Ag And he's played it throughout the tours at times (for the first 4 years that was his only 'improvisation'. He played it at one of the shows I attended (at 6:50). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0mUx9K3NWPw

Thanks for the info Like I said, I wasn't trying to imply that it was unique or anything But it seems like he doesn't do it very often in recent years -- I've seen them 8 times since 2010, and only heard it once Anyway, like I said, that's my favorite alternate Knights riff
