Did Black Keys win for both?

Yes. Dan Auerbach also won a best producer Grammy and they are now favoured to win a fourth trophy for Best Rock Performance and may even win Album of the Year over Mumford and Frank Ocean.

In 2011, Muse won a Grammy for Best Rock Album while the Black Keys won two Grammys for Best Rock Performance over Muse and Best Alternative Album over Arcade Fire who won Album of the Year.

The Recording Academy have many members who live in Nashville where the Black Keys are now based.

The unfortunate thing is that Muse will get zero publicity from the televised broadcast (est. 25-35 million viewers). If the Black Keys are going to sweep like Foo Fighters did a year ago, why not broadcast the Best Rock Album category?

How can anyone take these awards seriously anymore after they decided to make the broadcast essentially just a nasty corporate stroke fest?

Seriously? Not showing more than 10 awards?

Taking air time to allow Justin Timberlake to perform, even though he is not nominated in any catagory, but instead has an album coming out?

What a joke.

Justin Timberlake is awesome.

Regardless of if you're serious or not, he wasn't nominated for an award, and was included solely to draw in viewers, and promote his new album to the rest of the viewers.

This, and the lack of actual AWARDS broadcast really changes this from accolades from supposedly "important" industry types, to a big fat commercial.

I was being serious, and I don't see a problem with promoting an album and trying to get viewers since those awards have been a joke for a long time now.
