I think the official one, http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/3/35/Muse_2nd_law.jpg/220px-Muse_2nd_law.jpg ,fits the image of muse but i dont really like it as it is not aesthically pleasing and it holds very little meaning to the album.

I prefer this fan made one:http://www.prog-sphere.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/Muse-The-2nd-Law.jpeg

What do you think?

the second one would be perfect if they really wanted to push the electronic-metal stuff to the forefront of the album, but based on what I've heard the one they've chosen works the best. And let's not forget that the second one has even less relevance or apparent meaning.

Yeah I kinda agree that the picture of the brain might not necessarily represent the main theme of the album.

But I'll definitely take the actual album art over this fan art. Just not fond of the robot's face being featured since it probably would not have much to do with the album itself and it's not so pleasing to have something glaring at me as an album art. And the font used here isn't really the most suitable, I feel. Would have been more suitable for a very serious political, or rather, "protest" album.
