jack259
Okay, so as a Stereophonics fan, I received an email this morning saying that they're re-releasing their first two albums, with B-sides and rarities, in two and three disc sets. They are also doing a gig for each album. Playing the entire album and its B-sides.  (To the point)...  What if Muse did something similar? Either now or in the coming years? Which album would you attened (from Showbiz through to The Resistance)? Would you buy the albums?  Discuss  Also make some tasty setlists for the gigs/album tracklists.  This may help you in doing so: http://musewiki.com/Song_anthology  Clicky on the spoiler to see my OoS gig setlist    1. Mozza
As long as it's not the albums in full in order (seen two bands do that, both times weren't as fun as they could have been) then it'd be nice but I doubt it. The most obvious would have been for Muse to do a 'Showbiz' gig in 2009 but all we got was a re-working of Cave played on and off and Unintended back in the sets for a few gigs. jackparker
Good idea! I cant choose, cause the latter 3 albums havent got many b sides, and theyre my fave albums. FearAndPanic
I forget the date(s) but Muse have played BHaR in order followed by some old singles. Â I'd personally go for an Absolution gig, throw in stuff like Dead Star / In Your World and Abso B-Sides (Fury, The Groove, Eternally Missed) for padding. Â Sounds too good to be true. Ah yes, 3 times on the UK tour in 2006. Didn't really go down well from what I've gathered. Yeah an Absolution gig would be amazing. Although I think I'd prefer Origin Of Symmetry... And I'd like to hear The Resistance, despite it's lack of B-sides, but I'd love to hear Exogenesis in full. Clicky to see spoiler on The Resistance setlist gig. museyness
:eek:That would be awesome. I'd go to shows regarding Showbiz to Absolution or Showbiz to BHaR because the first gig I got to go to was back in March! Don't really care about what b-sides they would play, I would just be concerned about the stuff on the albums. Seeing FAWY probably wouldn't happen though, would it? The day this happens, I will wake up and find myself to be TALL. In other words, it's probably never gonna happen :'(
Killer Rabbit
I'd go to a series of 5 shows if they played the studio albums front to back in order, with the B-sides thrown in.

Imagine how much of a nightmare trying to get tickets would be. imagine the nightmare of relearning all the old songs up to gig level and imagine if nobody got tickets to the showbiz album gig (I would be there though ) the whole album gig sounds like something that would happen in my ideal world but not anywhere else

Ami34
I would go for the Absolution or OoS album concert If they did it but I wouldn't mind a b-sides concert; you'd only get musers there and I like a lot of b-sides
