Like all Muse albums, I really can't hate them. I'm a teenager so I love the teenage angst in some of the songs. The guys did a pretty good job with their first album.

 

With all new artist and bands starting out, the first album isn't always that great.

Good things about the album:

I love how raw and emotional it is. It's angsty, but in a good way. Muse at their finest IMO.

Bad things about the album:

MAybe a little too angsty in places.

Best track: Falling Down

Worst track: Hate This and I'll Love you

Favourite moment: "Too late, I already found what I was looking for. You know it wasn't here"

Four stars: Showbiz had quite a few not-very-good songs, but some were genius and amazing (Unintended?) Showbiz and Sunburn are also great songs. I also like Falling Down, it couldn't have been sung better, with that great use of raspiness at the end of the second and third choruses.
