Favorite tracks: Cave, Sunburn, Falling Down, Showbiz Least: Overdue Best moments: "Come in my caaaaaaave!", Showbiz buildup, Showbiz scream, "Visions of greed you wallow", all of Falling Down, Sunburn piano and the guitar after the first chorus, Fillip breakdown, Muscle Museum outro and intro, "And I'm getting strong in every way, YEAH!" Bad points - I think the lyrics are a bit angsty, however the music fit well with all of the lyrics. Favourite tracks - Showbiz, Falling Down, Escape, Fillip, Unintended, Muscle Museum, Uno, Sunburn Least favourite tracks - My least favourite is Overdue. It's good, but it's the one song I don't enjoy as much as all of the others. Best moments - Of course, the Showbiz scream! The build up to that is amazing. Sunburn gets me every time I listen to it, Showbiz is so tightly wound and then just explodes-it's amazing. Matt's voice is so, so beautiful throughout the album and so wrought with emotion, I especially love it on Hate This..., Sunburn, and Falling Down. I'm not a big fan of Sober, it gets on my nerves. I love parts of Filip but dislike other bits. Actually, that's the way it is with this album; when I don't like a track very much it's because I only dislike parts of it, not it as a whole. That's why I prefer Showbiz to The Resistance and BHAR, where I dislike entire songs and just don't listen to them. So I'd give Showbiz 8.5 / 10 overall. Oh, and one last thing-not enough bass! I also think this is the most difficult album to choose one definite favourite song from. Bad things about the album I don't think Showbiz was particularly ordered well in terms of its tracks. Too strong a first half, the second half is a letdown in comparison. Best track If I absolutely had to pick one, it would be Falling Down, absolutely beautiful track, very underrated. Followed closely by Muscle Museum and Cave. Worst track Overdue Favourite moment Difficult to argue with Matt's Showbiz-finale screams. Again, ratings based by comparing all of Muse's songs.
