matthijs Posted April 29, 2011 Share Posted April 29, 2011 Sorry, meant classical as in traditional electric guitar, where that grip is mostly used for blues etc... I wouldn't say either is wrong, they both have their strengths/weaknesses! With your thumb around the neck you can bend more easily, while behind the neck allows for better flexibility.
