Uprising on the HMV ad

 

I was standing in the cinema the other day and I heard IBTY in the ad for New Moon

Muse are the top band of 2009 according to MTVTWO!! .They celebrated with UD.

Then I changed the channel to Scuzz and there was a New Moon/Twilight competition. Top prize for who guesses the backing track of the ad.

'UD' between shows on New Zealand's main TV channel (this is quite a big deal, they normally play Kanye, or something). They also had 'Knights' from Wembley last week. I was so confused when it came on. I couldn't grasp it being on my TV without me having put the DVD in!

 

You also see 'UD' or 'Uprising' every day on our music channel's request show, 'Select', and when I went into Harvey Norman (big electronics and furniture store) today to look for a new stereo, they were blasting 'Knights', and I was just in time to rock out when the riff kicked in. Nice!

 

They are getting big here. I guarantee even more so after the Big Day Out in a couple of weeks.

Heard Uprising on BBC Three's Most Annoying People of 2009

I didn't hear this, but my mum and dad had been listening to something on Radio 2 I think, where they were couting down the best pieces of classical music that had been used in public, like in films and adverts etc., and they played the piano solo from Butterflies and Hurricanes. Don't know which number it was though.

So I was watching VH1 today and a commercial for a new live concert series named Friday Night Alright came on, and during the video montage there was footage of Muse, specifically Matt (with keytar) and Chris.
