  3. I have an original Atticus Marley jacket (the 2007/8 design that's exactly the same as Matt's, not the newer version with the different logo on the pocket) that I am looking to sell, and thought I'd check here before listing it on eBay. It's an M and in new condition - only worn a couple of times. PM me if you're interested. Be aware that I'm in New Zealand, so postage costs reflect that.
  4. My 'Exogenesis: Redemption' tattoo, only a couple of hours old- I am ridiculously pleased with how it turned out. This is the first time I've used this tattooist, too. My last three Muse tattoos were done by someone else.
  5. 'Uprising', 'Resistance' and 'UD' one after the other between shows on New Zealand's main TV channel (admittedly, it was at midnight). My baffled delight was slightly ruined by the crappy captioning - 'The Uprising' and 'The Resistance'. Could have been worse. They could have also referred to them as The Muse.
  6. Princess Shane Kuriyami from the 'Knights of Cydonia' video in an ad for Carlsberg. She was in one for Coke Zero last year, too. I also heard Adam Lambert's cover of 'Soaked' on the radio when I was at the service station. It was a Six Degrees of Separation bit - they played 'Uprising' and then explained the link between Muse and Adam. I didn't catch who came before Muse, but I was pretty impressed that a shoddy NZ radio station was informed enough to know about 'Soaked'.
  7. 'UD' between shows on New Zealand's main TV channel (this is quite a big deal, they normally play Kanye, or something). They also had 'Knights' from Wembley last week. I was so confused when it came on. I couldn't grasp it being on my TV without me having put the DVD in! You also see 'UD' or 'Uprising' every day on our music channel's request show, 'Select', and when I went into Harvey Norman (big electronics and furniture store) today to look for a new stereo, they were blasting 'Knights', and I was just in time to rock out when the riff kicked in. Nice! They are getting big here. I guarantee even more so after the Big Day Out in a couple of weeks.
  8. Cary Elwes' birthday? I had no idea. How remiss of me. I shall watch the movie yet again to make up for it!

  9. I heard 'Hysteria' in my head when I read this little piece in Metro newspaper in Dublin the other day- On My iPod - Joey Tempest of Europe (Note: You know, the 'Final Countdown' band!) 'Hysteria' by Muse Muse are one of my favourite English bands. They push the limits - a lot. 'Hysteria' has a great chorus and bass guitar riff that opens the song and just builds in a really exciting way. I went to see them at Wembley and the audience went nuts for it.
  10. My camera is le crap and it is surprisingly difficult to get a good photo of your own arm, but here is my latest (third) Muse tattoo- It goes all the way around my wrist and says- No it doesn't change And you can't resist Making me feel Eternally missed Turns out my appointment was the same day the tour was announced. 'Twas a great day altogether! Though this one did smart more than my others, given the thinness of your skin there.
  11. 'Eternally Missed' 'Map of the Problematique' 'Stockholm Syndrome' (favourite song EVER) 'Citizen Erased' 'The Groove' 'Glorious' 'Bliss' 'Showbiz' 'Hyper Music' 'Sing for Absolution' Okay, that took way longer than it should of, and I feel guilty about all the songs I had to leave out.
  12. Good Sir Brian, how be you? Pants staying firmly up due to superior beltage? (No responsibility accepted if this is not the case. All transactions are final and you have no consumer rights. Thank you for shopping at jediknightanyas.)

Thought I should warn you I'll be invading your hemisphere in July, so you've plenty of time to go into hiding. It's only fair.

  13. 'Sunburn' on AltTV in NZ. 'Sunburn', for Christ's sake! I was seriously weirded out. Didn't think they had anything but 'Plug In Baby' and the 'H.A.A.R.P.' videos, as that's all they ever play when I request Muse. I never expected to see that on television ever, especially not here. Was well chuffed.
  14. An interview I have never seen before anywhere on a show about the 2004 Big Day Out in Auckland, NZ. *jumps up and down excitedly* Then another interview (that I have seen before, but only on YouTube) on a show about the 2007 Big Day Out. And finally Muse at number 7 on 'The 100 Greatest Big Day Out Performances'. It wasn't actual gig footage, just music vids, but still... good haul! *goes to bed with happy Muse buzz*
  15. I got both of mine done in the one go and it really didn't hurt. Having your legs waxed is much, much worse! Thanks to everyone who said such wicked things about my 'Stockholm Syndrome' tattoo. Appreciate it muchly. You know, I sometimes forget it's there and then randomly catch sight of it in the mirror, which gives me a happy little buzz. I love that song so much. And a hearty "Kia ora" to my fellow Kiwis. Got to make sure the NZ Muse fanbase is well represented on here!
  16. *accepts snog, has cheeky grope*

Hey, my love! Is boring on here now the Muse Questions are done, eh?

    *runs back to TAM*

  17. Why, Brian, where did you get that fetching belt? And put that spanner down. It's not a toy, you know!

  18. Future Irish Muser alert! I'm moving to Ireland next year from New Zealand (I liked the place so much when I was there for the epic epicness that was Marlay Park, I thought, "Why the hell not, eh?"), so I'm currently actually a Kiwi Muser, but always be prepared.
  19. Hey Nic! How's life after your 'Close Encounter of the Muse Kind'?! It'll be a whole year since Christchurch soon. Time spectacularly wasted, of course. Hope you're peachy.

  20. Trying to steal my Muse stuff, eh? Good thing you paid for it.

  21. *looks over Court's shoulder* Oh, hello Jules. What are you doing standing behind Court holding a bunch of flowers with that expression of hopeless devotion on your face? You're not *gasp* in love with her, are you? What will the Bellamy have to say about that, eh?

  22. 'Plug In Baby' at #12 on the 'Let There Be Rock' countdown on our music channel C4's 'U Choose 40' here in NZ. Cue squeeing in delight and a desperate search for the remote to crank the volume. Just why is it so exciting seeing Muse on the TV when you can always grab something from your collection and put them on there yourself?! I'm not sure, but it certainly makes my day. I still loathe Matt's guitar in that video though. It's too Dire Straits for words.
