Rumours are that Uprising is actually the V theme tune??? Can anyone from the US confirm this.

I don't think Uprising is the theme song. I missed the opening (twice:facepalm:) but it wasn't played at the end or during the next-show preview.

 

And sorry, I don't remember where the other threads are. Hard to do a search for "V".

I've watched both eps of the show and I can confirm it isn't the theme song. The show really doesn't have much of an intro, just a black screen with a spray painted "V" across it. Its literally like 10 secs. Show is kinda weak imo.

LTM, it isn't the theme song per se, but it is used in nearly all of the commercials promoting "V" in the US. I thought they would only use it up to the premiere but they've aired two episodes so far and are still playing it in the promos.

I think it fits really well with the series from what I've read of the synopsis. Muse seems to work fantastically well in trailers. 28 Weeks Later with Shrinking Universe and Watchmen with Take A Bow gave me a rush.
