  1. If anyone needs a hotel for Sunday night, PM me. I no longer need my room at Philadelphia Bella Vista Bed & Breakfast on South 10th St., 3 miles from the venue. Rather cheap: $98.
  2. I'm bragging, I know, but I didn't appreciate TAB until I saw it live - it closed my 1st Muse gig. It was epic! Top songs that I haven't heard are Muscle Museum and Blackout.
  3. To think I might actually have a chance to hear Muscle Museum is just ... unbelievable. I'm going to try so hard not to get my hopes up though. And SfA. But I have a feeling that hearing SfA in an arena might not be as great as MM because of the ambient crowd noise. Idk?
  4. Whomever posted that Defector is a worse song... I agree. To me, Defector is what Revolt is to many people in this thread: I don't really love it, although it's become kinda catchy. Revolt, though - man, I really do love that song. I don't care if the band intended for it to be cheesy or "jokey" as some have said. I don't expect deep, provocative emotions from every piece they write. But, as I've said (maybe not here though), it could just be that Revolt speaks to my inner '80s teenager.
  5. I voted Hysteria, but only because it's had so many years ahead of Reapers, and it's sentimentally lodged in my heart. But in time, maybe Reapers will win out.
  6. I thought lyric videos were supposed to be temporary, like a preview for the final video. I love the other one, I think it's gorgeous.
  7. Yes! I said from my first listen that the line "Your ass belongs to me now " should be yelled/shouted/rapped rather than sung. (I may have even said it here on the board; sorry if I'm repeating.)

  9. I've seen it on video and live and honestly have no idea what any of the words are. I'm just mesemerized watching Matt play. Perhaps I should try listening and not watching, haha!
  10. We could. (I was #12, and we counted 12 people on the barrier, so I JUST made it!) Toward the end, someone had moved Chris' mic stand and I reached up and grabbed a pic off of it. (I'm sorry Chris, I know stealing is wrong, but the moment took me over.) Then Matt came over and dumped handfuls of picks directly into our hands. Anyway, my point is we were indeed close. I still can't completely believe it all happened.
  11. I like it. I'm not sure how I'd compare it to the other three new songs I've heard, or even to the rest of Muse's songs, but one thing's certain: it's definitely stuck in my head. The Cobain doc "Montage of Heck" was just on TV, so I watched it. It was great. You'd think I'd now have Nirvana songs playing in my head. Nope. Friggin' Merrrrrcyyyy.
  12. Hey all, I'm following the LA setlist and stream (such as it is) and wanted to put down in this thread for posterity: For New Born last week, I didn't get the best view of the piano intro (I was too far house left) but I did catch the famous "guitar swipe" and that was worth price of admission, so to speak.
  13. It's a bit scratchy ("sizzly" was the term I used on your stream feed) but I can make out the conversations and house music. I think I heard our Aussie Muse Mum. LOL Edit: And thank you!!! For whatever we get, whatever the quality, it's appreciated!
  14. We were asked to...it's radio. We were asked to do a few extra takes of cheering for editing purposes. I feel like I ate a pack of razor blades.
