Lots of different website saying Muse may perform at the apple event, all saying its very likely because of them getting U2 to perform before.

"Great acoustics too. Maybe U2 will show up again?

Or maybe Muse! If we're really lucky, we just might get another sincere/awkward finger-touch moment"

Oh and Rich Costey posted a photo on instagram saying "this mornings office" and its of Air Studios. Could be linked, don't know his status with the new album

is Rich Costey anything to do with this album? I know Matt met him before recording started but does he actually have any official involvement this time round? Obviously he's not the producer.

Truth is can't remember Muse having any huge hit, especially at the US.

well you're just wrong. uprising held a record for weeks at #1 billboard alt, not sure if it still does. SMBH and starlight were both hits, and time is running out is widely recognizable. If you mean true POP hits, probably not, except for the brief twilight flare up. But they have had multiple hits in the "alternative" area. And like it or not, madness was a hit.

this isn't the radio or single-sales era. if you can get 20k people in a variety of cities to know the words and sing along, you've got yourself a hit.

This Apple idea is pretty laughable on reflection.

Can you really imagine a TV commercial for fancy watches featuring 030503 in a politicised song entitled "Psycho"?

U2 worked because they're beigerock.
