Spectrum IV
Don't think there's been a thread on this yet. Recently I came across a YouTube video that had Muse's Greatest Hits album in full. Intrigued, I loaded the video, and it claims the album is official and was released by Warner Music. Here's the artwork and tracklisting: Thoughts? Edited January 4, 2014 by Espectro Cuatro

kueller
Bellamy's input confirmed? I wish. It would at least be better than Starlight.
mskatie
Can't be legit. Feeling Good and Guiding Light are missing.
Regilistic
Hyper Music --> Map --> B&H -->SD --> Shrinking Universe --> Micro Cuts --> Dead Star --> TOADA --> ... Invincible Good one, Muse.
Dee3Dee
Too many good songs to be legit.
LiT
Greatest hits are useless anyway. Do a playlist yourself, there you go greatest hits.
Clunge
A greatest hits with Shrinking Universe? Lawl.
Butterflyfan
I saw this Greatest hits on Amazon (on the French site) a few months ago. I had never heard about this album. So I didn't buy it because I wasn't sure that it was a "real" Muse item, given we can't find it here, on the shop section of their own website. But now no more trace on Amazon. Finn.
I love the artwork! Not sure if real, anyway. The tracklist is really good for a GH compilation.
kueller
I want to get this just cause but looking at the reviews I'm afraid the distributor will just take my $20 and disappear.
Clunge
Of course it's not real . Jeez.

nerd herd
It's not official. Neither is this http://www.amazon.co.uk/B-SIDES-RARITIES-2CD-DIGIPACK/dp/B00FGXNQTS/ref=sr_1_12?ie=UTF8&qid=1388840367&sr=8-12&keywords=muse. For that one it looks like someone got every b-side iTunes has (since Popcorn isn't on that track list) and stuck them on some discs Edited January 4, 2014 by nerd herd
Furygirl
Yeah, I think Muse would have mentioned something if they were putting out a Greatest Hits album.

serpentsatellite
Artwork is to "T2L"y, I would think, to be legit, if nothing else. Too many songs, the "non-hits" are too fan-favorite (Shrinking Universe?) and it lacks that one new or remixed song to force old fans to buy it. filterskinny
did anybody buy this compilation? I am curious if you really get this CD and if it looks like the picture shows. I think there are legal rights which Amazon has to follow when this offer is not official... ?
serpentsatellite
It's a bit of a problem, unfortunately. Pretty much every CD or DVD I bought from a 3rd party seller on Amazon has been a fake; even when it was an existing legit item I ordered, I always got a fake. If you look at the sellers for this CD, the first two sell dozens of "Greatest Hits" albums that don't technically exist, and the first one is selling a ripped DVD of the iTunes Muse gig. serpentsatellite
That's what star ratings and customer reviews are for... That's assuming anyone who buys this stuff knows the difference, or cares. Check the first seller on this one. 97% positive, and no one on the first few pages mentions anything as a fake. The closest thing I found was "case is shoddy."
FabriPav
That's assuming anyone who buys this stuff knows the difference, or cares. If they don't know the difference or care, it's their problem... Seems pretty obvious. Also the 97% you see there is the general score of the seller, not in relation to the item they're selling.
