There aren't many bootlegs (only 3 or 4 tmk) of it but here's one from their November Zepp date.

Just the "we have a right to know..." into that drop A :facemelt: I can just imagine the chaos.

Edit: If they do a club tour next year (I feel like we need it after this 2016 shitstorm), that'd be the perfect opener imo.

Yeah I'm not doubting that they didn't play Citizen Erased after Micro Cuts, I'm questioning why you're pointing that out as if it's weird. Why would CE be played after Micro Cuts? It rarely ever was.

Most concerts I've heard with Micro Cuts in it has had Citizen Erased after, plus it flows pretty well. I just thought that was what they normally did.

Okay after looking through some setlists, it was pretty common in 2001. But just as common overall that they weren't even close to eachother, or that they even were the other way around like on the album.

But when it was played in that order, it was very rarely the opener. It usually followed Dead Star or New Born.

When they opened with MK Ultra at Rock in Rio, that was all kinds of amazeballs.

Shame the set was all over the place . I'm fairly sure, IIRC, they opened and close MK Ultra with the Township Rebellion riff.

I was there! MK as an opener was so cool, especially as the band walked in with Matt teasing MK and with Chris puffing on his smoking pipe. It just was a really cool beggining to a fest gig.

I have mixed feelings on that gig though, as we kind of got the greatest hits experience (NSC included!) but also had Citizen. Odd :$

Yup, 5 times in '05 and twice in '07.

So I thought.

2007? I thought it was barely played in '07, but made a few at some radio gigs in '06.

We've had a few odd openers over the years. MK Ultra is another one. And Stockholm Syndrome. Personally I prefer the opener that really gets the crowd going. Psychoanalyst the like are perfect openers.

I thought MK Ultra looked a great opener. Better than Resistance at least, as Jobby mentioned.

IMO I think What's He Building->Dead Star is the best opening duo, although I think I recall hearing one with CE from 2001 that worked nicely. Even if I think Citizen Erased is a bit overlong to be an opener.

Drones into Reapers worked surprisingly well, although yeah, Psycho is a better opener.

I remember watching the YouTube footage of Chris walking out with his pipe and fireworks going off while the rest of the band joined him and belted out MK Ultra. That looked fucking brilliant.

But yeah that setlist flow is utterly ludicrous. It is Muse, mind. There's worse offenders out there than that gig.

Obvs we got Showbiz at Reading but the Leeds one would be worth it for the falsetto alone. Also could be Showbiz from that Japanese show or perhaps Assassin from Belfast?

I personally reckon it’ll be either one or a couple of songs (audio recordings) from SBE — Showbiz, MM, Easily or Glorious would be my bets

Some unheard song/demo from Origin Of Muse would be nice to tide us over to the actual release but it ain’t gonna happen. First that spring to mind for me:

I Belong To You @ Casino de Paris, 2010

RBS @ Glasgow SECC, 2012

Fury @ Zepp, 2013

Bliss/Dead Star/The Groove @ Manchester Academy, 2015 (only Psycho Tour gig to not get a pro-shot and it was sick)

Micro Cuts @ Download 2015

Assassin @ London O2, 2015

Showbiz/Muscle Museum/Glorious/Easily audio @ Shepherd’s Bush, 2017
