argh this is difficult.

Reapers

SS

The Handler

Bliss

Muscle Museum

Butterflies and Hurricanes

Plug in Baby

Citizen Erased

Micro Cuts

City of Delusion

Knights of Cydonia

The order is probably all kinds of fucked up, I haven't listened to it through yet. I wanted Globalist and Exo in there, but no room

EDIT: actually MC>CoD works quite well

Just pointing out that the tracks are supposed to be the number that they are on their respective albums. I didn't realise that Reapers was an album opener and etc :chuckle:

1. New Born

2. Muscle Museum

3. Space Dementia

4. Sing For Absolution

5. Reapers

6. Citizen Erased

7. Assassin

8. Hysteria

9. Exogenesis: Overture

10. Exogenesis: Cross-Pollination

11. Exogenesis: Redemption

I feel Exogenesis is the perfetc way to finish an album, that's why there is only 11 songs. Without Exo, my album would look like this:

1. New Born

2. Muscle Museum

3. Space Dementia

4. Sing For Absolution

5. Reapers

6. Citizen Erased

7. Assassin

8. Hysteria

9. Blackout

10. Hoodoo

11. Knights of Cydonia

12. Megalomania

13. Thoughts of a Dying Atheist

By the way, Exogenesis is in my opinion the best Muse has ever done, so I would have it in my album no matter what.

I managed to get at least 1 song from every album in :D

Edit: I made a dumb dumb with KOC because I forgot that Soldiers Poem exists. Hence Hoodoo

oooh fuck, I hadn't noticed haha. I will try again.

New Born

Muscle Museum

Space Dementia

Sing For Absolution

Stockholm Syndrome

Citizen Erased

Micro Cuts

Exo-Politics

City of Delusion

Butterflies and Hurricanes

Knights of Cydonia

Endlessly

Isolated System

Ruled By Secrecy

Fuck, that order is terrible. I hadn't realised the amount of competition between certain track numbers before. SS, Reapers, PiB, Cave is a tricky choice. Bliss/MM is always hard as well, as is CE/Handler/Showbiz :/

EDIT: but Reapers would've made a storming opener.

I think most people tend to have TOADA and RBS as tracks 11 and 12, as Intro and Interlude are really just introductions to the track that follows them. Same with T2L (prelude) and Drones (DS and JFK)

Instead of this being a collection of my favourite songs, I wanted to make this an album, with all the proper flow, breaks, and peaks.

1.Take A Bow

2. Muscle Museum

3. Psycho

4. Prelude

5. Stockholm Syndrome

6. Citizen Erased

7. Unintended

8. Hysteria

9. City of Delusion

10. Exogenesis: Cross-Pollination

11. Knights of Cydonia

Also, #6 was the hardest to pick: Showbiz, Citizen Erased, Falling Away With You, Invincible, Unnatural Selection, Follow Me, The Handler. Holy crapola.

Randomly remembered this thread (or another one like it) and thought I'd go back and have a go as I'm revisiting the older albums at the moment and I'm in that kind of mood - so here goes...

1. Apocalypse Please

2. Bliss

3. Space Dementia

4. Stockholm Syndrome

5. Falling Away With You

6. Citizen Erased

7. Blackout

8. Butterflies And Hurricanes

9. City Of Delusion

10. Hoodoo

11. Megalomania

12. Ruled By Secrecy

I definitely wouldn't mind that - says a lot about my album preferences really, haha! Honourable mentions to Sing For Absolution and The Handler, as they don't miss out by much. The others weren't in much doubt.

Gonna take a double album for me, and semi-cheating by using the Japanese tracklists:

Take A Bow

Bliss

Undisclosed Desires

Map Of The Problematique

Plug In Baby

Citizen Erased

Micro Cuts

Screenager

Darkshines

Hoodoo

Endlessly

Glorious

Hate This & I’ll Love You

New Born

Muscle Museum

Space Dementia

Stockholm Syndrome

Cave

Showbiz

Assassin

Butterflies & Hurricanes

City Of Delusion

Fury

Futurism

Megalomania

Ruled By Secrecy (as a hidden track after ~5 mins silence)

Trying to go for a flow with a running story with the lyrics / themes

Dead Inside

MK Ultra

{Drill Sergeant}

Psycho

Space Dementia

Soldiers Poem

The Handler

Uprising

Assassin

Knights of Cydonia

Take a Bow

Someone who becomes dead and emotionless, and who’s mind is eventually brainwashed and conditioned to do someone’s bidding. They have such conflict that they have been conditioned to adore this person despite the good buried inside. Tired of their treatment they begin to rebel and disassociate, causing them to rise up and lead forces against the established order
