Secret Gigs?

Princess of Promise

Me and my friend were debating whether or not Muse is the type of band that would like to do "underground concerts", because my neighbor had just won tickets to a country underground, and Linkin Park has an entire Facebook page devoted to their underground concerts. Would Muse be the type of band to do this kind of thing? (If they already did, please forgive me).

Dom did a gig with his side-project band in a small club in LA and the tickets were only $10 or soemthing. Apart from that I don't know

I imagine the obvious answer is no, and afaik they haven't ever done it before.

Although now that they've reached the status where they continually headline festivals and stadiums and solid arena tours I think they said they were looking to maybe do something different next tour.

Of course that was just Matt rambling but there's always hope that they could do something cool like this on the next tour...however unlikely

None of them have been proper 'secret gigs' though - both Shepherd's Bush and Casino de Paris were competitions for gigs ar reasonable sized venues (at least 1,000 at each, amirite?).

It's not like Muse have rocked up at the Cavern in Exeter and announced the gig two hours before it starts.

Casino de Paris was about 600, I think.

The thought of a tiny Muse gig makes me crave it. I did go to a secret Green Day show last week. It was in the back of a record store, lasted about 2 hours, and there were about 70 people there, mostly friends. It was surreal. OMG if Muse did one it would be amazing. Of course it would probably be on the other side of the planet...

Secret glastonbury 2013 slot for Absolution in full.

Haha, if they put in all that effort they'd market the shit out of it. (and then some)

It would be unwise not to market an Absolution event. Not broadcasting Reading went bad enough with rage. If the special show was a secret one, even worse.

You know, if their sets everywhere else were good, the rage wouldn't be much of a problem.
