CarrieB Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 http://www.thecmuwebsite.com/article/muse-to-record-next-album-in-london/ and this: http://www.contactmusic.com/news.nsf/story/muse-to-make-next-album-in-london_1204049 Sorry if there's already a thread, but I couldn't find one. I didn't know Chris had already moved to London but it sounds definite now.
minnie Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 :DYea! I'm ready for a new album. If London works best for them this time , have at it.
feeling.free Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 The 'Undisclosed Desires' rockers lol I wondered if the whole London thing was still on, considering Matt's situation. So that's nice.
LyraSilvertongue Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 So Chris is already here? I wonder if he's anywhere near me. I'd probably die of shock if I bumped into him in Sainsbury's
Alex's_Syndrome Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 what does he mean by - "It also means we can make the album over a longer period of time without having to pressurise it all in to a three week studio session, you can spread it out." it's the third recording session they say it, it was like that with BH&R, TR and this new album.. I mean, with all respect to their artistic process, it's not like they were pressured while recording TR - it was done in Matt's house, for christ sake! you know, i'm not trying to have a go at them, but if they decide to take a long time off that's their prerogative, just don't tell us that you're then under pressure in the studio. though luck... it seems insincere, that's all

Yeah that's very nice for Matt, but not for the other two who might want to combine making an album with social / family life.
Tofu Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 Yeah that's very nice for Matt, but not for the other two who might want to combine making an album with social / family life. That, and the fact that they all lived in different countries at the time.
a-museing Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 Exciting stuff. I think it will probably be a summer release. That will give them enough time to record etc. Album pattern so far seems to be: Showbiz - Autumn (October) OOS - Summer (July) Abso - September BHAR - July TR - September

Buxomflirter Queef Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 Summer album release, autumn tour Brr queueing in the cold!
LyraSilvertongue Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 Brr queueing in the cold! Even a summer tour means queueing in the cold over here
Buxomflirter Queef Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 Even a summer tour means queueing in the cold over here This is true
scifigeekgirl Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 So Chris is already here? I wonder if he's anywhere near me. I'd probably die of shock if I bumped into him in Sainsbury's *giggle* well I'm sure he'd be a perfect gentleman and pick you up off the floor! Can't imagine Museboys doing the supermarket run, somehow (even tho I've seen a pic of Matt & Kate in a shop stateside, but that seems different) - bet they'd get their groceries delivered by Ocado... Even a summer tour means queueing in the cold over here Don't forget the rain either...even summers over here can be soggy...
jackparker Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 They should do a stadium only tour I think!
Mizutsu Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 They should do a stadium only tour I think! :phu: they'd better do the Giants stadium then
Tesseract Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 They should do a stadium only tour I think! No.

hyper_chondriac_muser Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 Yay, they're all here at last! I remember this whole 'everyone'll be in London' living thing, so I'm glad they'll be recording in the capital. It'll be weird knowing they're potentially 20mins or even an hour away from me and would be even weirder to bump into them somewhere during their 'socialising' time, haha. Not that I'd stalk them or anything , lol. Anyways, 2012 was always the prediction for the next album release date, so glad that's confirmed. So far, we know lullabies and Justice-style 'rave' will potentially be in the works for album six, if anyone's dim enough to believe teh Bells Either way, exciting tiemz! To make everything more awesome, they REALLY need to confirm a UK show asap! I dun care where or which, but they MUST play somewhere this year so I can get my MuseLive fix!

Reading's been pretty much confirmed by Morgan.
hyper_chondriac_muser Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 Reading's been pretty much confirmed by Morgan. Nice one, cheers! I really need to get back to browsing the boards every day like I used to lol.
