Muse + Depeche Mode for the Abu Dhabi GP... I'd love to go. In fact it would be amazing if I could go.

I just need a passport and loadsamoney. Small barrier. :chuckle:

Influx of idiots on twitter believing a rumour that muse are going to split-up. Any of ideas of where this came from?

There hasn't been a thread somewhere on here trying that stunt again was there? :p

I am wondering if this tour is going to be "long and extended" like Black Holes and Revelations Tour as they mentioned in a BBC interview last year or short like The Resistance Tour.

Both tours lasted basically the exact same length of time

god

wonder why I never heard about this before

Depeche were great on that tour themselves, but with Muse supporting... :facemelt:

those were the days when Sweden was yet to be cursed

Started flicking through some of the setlists around this time and found this:

Megalomania in 2006?

No. Megalomania was last played at the Dublin 2002 gig, and then wasn't played until Royal Albert Hall in 2008. Dunno who put it in that setlist or why.

This is the correct setlist: http://www.musewiki.org/Atlanta_Tabernacle_2006_(gig)

Edit: Apparently it's disputed whether or not it was played. Seems incredibly unlikely though.

All the 2005-2006 US gigs were fantastic.

Then something happened to their setlists in the country...

I dunno - the LA Forum setlist in 2007 was pretty good.

Guess, like everywhere elsewhere, The Resistance came out and changed the setlist ethos.

yeah, America found out about them so they had to play all their radio hits

Or that.

BH&R tour was good too. It was The Resistance tour where everything just collapsed and never got much better.

Makes me even more mad I barely missed the BH&R leg.

September 11 - Washington

September 14 - Rio de Janeiro

September 17 - Denver

October 11 - Austin

October 13 - Buenos Aires

October 18 - Mexico City

Fair old bit of travelling, that.

The tickets for the show in Buenos Aires are already on sale (I have mine), but I am worried that it is not listed in the tour dates yet :(

I hope it is not a scam...
