  1. yeah, me neither, but then again, there are some titles difficult to understand. what the hell do dark shines and plug in baby mean for example? hate this and I'll love you is one of the best songs on Showbiz in my opinion, comes right after showbiz for me. it really is beautiful, I also love the lyrics, just everything about it. also, I think it's one of the most Musey songs.
  2. you don't play it from sheet music do you? don't do that. just learn which harmonies you need and then play the rest by ear. It's improvisation in large part. and you won't be bothered with playing every note from the sheets. we now return to: ontopic! I've been listening to Dark Shines a lot lately. That song is pure dark, absurd brilliance. I especially love the chaos piano before the chorus.
  3. so I had this pretty ridiculous dream last night, it honestly made no sense at all, but whatever. I was at a Muse concert (o rly), but! Above the stage, there was like, another stage with a piano on it (a second one beside the normal one on the "first floor"), and nobody except me seemed to notice it. So I somehow (don't ask how) sneaked up there, and started playing the intro to Space Dementia in the middle of the show! At first, Matt got very angry, like "who the hell is playing the piano up there", and went up to kick my ass, even though Dom tried to stop him! But then he realised that I was playing Space Dementia, so in the end he let me finish it and then we shared a bottle of wine, which was there next to the piano somehow. All right Freud, try to solve this one!
  4. showbiz and darkshines?:D but I agree, an extended setlist would be preferable, not only to make room for new songs, but also to provide a chance to... um... "synchronize" the older and newer songs, so that the show would have a proper flow. this will only become harder and harder considering the difference in style between a tr and oos song, but I think they'll manage. I'm hopeful as always:)
