    also expect some radical musical eclecticism. Muse are now all for stuffing as many genres into an album as humanly possible. Expect symphonic rock, pop, some dubstep-sorta electro stuff, Queen and funky. More casual, better known songs since TR are Uprising, Resistance, Undisclosed Desires, Supremacy, Panic Station and Madness. Also Survival, but people tend to headbang to that song a lot less than they should.

    so what?! a lot of Muse songs that are generally loved don't really go anywhere and follow the regular verse-chorus-verse-chorus-bridge/solo/whatever-chorus structure. Hysteria. Bliss. Map of the Problematique. That doesn't mean they're bad songs. if your song is good, you don't need unconventional structures. Supremacy is good. top 10 material, actually.

    what's the sudden beef with Supremacy? Everything is great about it: riffs, vocals, strings (oh god I love strings)... although I do agree the riff could be heavier.
