  1. This'll be the first time we get pro-shots of Psycho, Dead Inside, Reapers and (presumably) Mercy, right? (I know there's that stream of the Mayan but that's on some exclusive channel, isn't it?)
  2. When I was really desperate to find out the lyrics, I tried reading his lips. Quickly gave up though 'cause I'm really shit at it If anyone else reckons they can do it though, feel free to give it a bash. Side note - this song is crazy fun to play. Probably the most fun Muse song for guitar so far.
  3. From what we've seen/heard, it looks like there's two variants of the chorus: Lies and deceit And the world is/Bodies on the shore We've got the sea/We've got to see or some shit All you've got is... and Mind control/whatever roll And the world is/Bodies on the shore Reapers and horsemen Now I am radicalised The order seems like it goes 1, 2, then 1&2 at the end but sometimes they fuck it up and get them the wrong way round so it's hard to tell definitively. Probably stating the obvious here but thought I'd make it clear just in case anyone was confused.
  4. Yeah, from my experience, bands rarely play right up to their curfew. I think they like to give themselves a bit of leeway. 20+ songs would be nice but I reeeally doubt it. That's the kind of set length you'd get at one of their own gigs, festival sets are usually shorter. I'd expect about 17-18 songs.
  5. Like Tjet said though, the fact that some of the tracks are about the expected length doesn't really add much to the legitimacy. The person who made it could've easily worked that out as well. Edit: 6:10 seems a bit long for Reapers to me. Most of the live versions are about that length but that's with about 30-50 seconds of distortion/feedback in the intro and outro. It's possible that's in the studio version as well, but I figured that was just a 'live thing', if that makes sense.
  6. If that screenshot's legit, previews soon maybe? I mean, we're only just over 3 weeks away from when the album first starts to release and it'll inevitably leak/stream shortly before then so they've gotta come fairly soon.
  7. Well, we've heard at least a bit of the piano section and it sounded kind of Explorers-y I guess. To be fair though, CE's outro would probably sound a bit cheesy/boring with just the piano so let's wait and see what the final product's like. Either way, there's no way that countdown is leading to the piano section, it's obviously building up to something big.
  8. I'm feeling either Thursday or Friday this week. Surprised there haven't really been any kind of teases or official statements though, other than those kinda vague tweets from Tom.
  9. Yeah, I picked up on that as well. Maybe suggesting he wasn't too happy with T2L or TR? It'd make sense given the desire to go back to their 'old sound', coupled with the lack of material from those albums at recent gigs.
  10. Well, it continued their path/progression towards a more 'mature' stadium rock sound that had really been going on since Showbiz, delving further into more strings-based and orchestral music as well as pop. Some of the song-writing and production just let it down imo.
  11. I'd say TR was a pretty natural progression sound-wise from BHAR, it just lacked in quality in some areas. T2L was an attempt at progression but ended up a bit of a mess. So far, Drones feels like a devolution if anything, though a welcome one imo. I would assume so. Pretty much the same setup as Starlight.
  12. Not sure about Vuilstamen, I like it but I find it hard to imagine it in a song instead of just being a stand-alone jam. I'd love 0123 though. Could work really well as an outro a la Ashamed, starting off with just the guitar then the bass and drums kicking in afterwards. Doubt either will be on there though. 0123 looks like it's still in 'live outro riff' territory and they've probably forgotten about Vuilstamen by now.
  13. I think I was just trying to stop myself from getting my hopes up too much to avoid the possibility of being really disappointed. I've been pretty confident it'd be on the album for a while now though.
  14. Good to hear, hopefully means it won't pull a Supremacy and be totally flat on record. Might confirm that the outro is on the album as well, considering those big riff outros are a big part of their live sound.
  15. If you listen carefully, there's definitely some playback of Matt's vocals at the end when while he's singing in falsetto. Pretty sure that's the only case in the song though.
  16. I think Matt said it was the darkest, not sure about his favourite. Pretty sure I remember Dom saying it was his favourite though (as well as The Globalist).
  17. Fair enough, I wouldn't really describe Sunburn or Dead Inside as quite being 'quiet to intense' though. Sunburn's pretty much a standard verse-chorus-verse-chorus song and Dead Inside doesn't really build up to much. For me, individual songs would be: Take A Bow Apocalypse Please New Born Sunburn Uprising Dead Inside Supremacy As album openers: Take A Bow New Born Apocalypse Please Uprising Supremacy Sunburn Dead Inside
