  1. So here's some special weird art/poster for the gig, if anyone's interested. No what it's got to do with the band though Also, apparently the balcony is completely empty Maybe it's being saved for friends/family and professional peeps?
  2. It might yet be the end of the album, we still don't know what Drones is. Mutt described it as the end of the album so who knows. Also, 9-10 minutes is too long for a main set opener, it'd probably be more appropriate as an encore opener. To be honest, I'm not sure how they're gonna play it considering the 3 different guitar parts we've heard so far. Maybe Morgan will play the acoustic part while Matt does the slide on a 7-string?
  3. From briefly meeting him in person, he really does. I swear a lot myself and even I was slightly taken aback I rarely like it when he awkwardly squeezes it into songs though. Hopefully that shit's gone on this tour.
  4. Not really surprised tbh, I always felt like '10 minutes' was probably Matt rounding up. I think I predicted it to be 9 minutes something. It's not like there's much of a difference anyway, it'll still be their longest song by a fair distance (not including Exo as one song).
  5. Nice to hear that The Handler is a favourite of the whole band. I refuse to let myself hype it up too much but everything we've heard about it so far sounds promising. If it can rival or even better Reapers, I'll be more than happy.
  6. Before the bootleg was released, a common thread throughout most of the descriptions was that it had a 'great bassline'. It was usually pointed out as being one of the more prominent highlights of the song. Since then, I've seen a few people (can't remember any specific posts and really can't be arsed to go back and find them) specifically mention it in a positive way when it's just...standard. Like I said, nothing special. I never said people were saying it was the best thing ever, I just said it was overhyped.
  7. Very bass-driven chorus with long, drawn-out singing of the title ('Follow me, you can follow me'/'Mercy, mercy, show me mercy'), which follow both a similar-ish melody. Then there's the beat in the verses as well as the transition between chorus and verse at 2:12 in FM and just after the first chorus of Mercy. I'm not saying they sound exactly the same but there are similarities. It probably shares more with Starlight tbh, with maybe a little bit of Easily in there as well. I'm dismissing it There's nothing special about it at all imo. Probably the most overhyped bassline in their discography atm, given how many people have gone on about it.
  8. Just 'cause Follow Me's shit doesn't mean the two don't share some similarities sonically though. I find the chorus boring 'cause it's pretty much just 'Meeeeeeercyyyyy' a few times in a boring melody over a bog standard chord progression. It feels lazy lyrically and sounds like someone trying to imitate or parody the band. The verses are kinda fun/catchy though, I guess.
  9. I'm surprised so many people seem at least reasonably hyped for this tbh. It's really nothing special from what we've heard imo, pretty much a cross between Follow Me and Starlight. The chorus is particularly boring. I expect this to be one of those songs that most people look back on as 'meh' at best in a year or two.
  10. Not sure what you're asking but they gave them out at the iHeart concert, so it is official and acknowledged by the band.
  11. So, at the moment, we've got two different screenshots floating around with different track times and explicit tags and they're both from Reddit? I'll believe it when I see it, wouldn't believe either right now. As has been said, iTunes listings really aren't that hard to fake.
  12. It's not confirmed that they showed up on iTunes though, is it? To my knowledge, some guy claimed it did and that he took a screenshot of it but that could pretty easily be faked.
  13. More likely he just fucks up and gets the lines mixed up sometimes. Also, footage from the Webster Hall gig shows that one of the lines is definitely 'And the world is [something]', not anything about warriors. Edit: Chris sings the 'lies and deceit' line in the first chorus at WH while Matt sings 'mind control'. Probably more proof that they still get the lyrics mixed up.
  14. Well, it is pretty obvious that it's a cover, that's how people spotted it. The only thing that'd make it unethical would be if they didn't credit Morricone, which would probably get them sued as well. Assuming the banging and whistling is on the album and wasn't just them messing about.
