  1. First time in any pit @ 2010 Vancouver Lots of jumping up and down, I never got banged in the head at all. When Stockholm and Knights kicked in there were idiots trying to grab me and chuck me around. Annoying really but what can you do..
  2. Recess - the bassline, vocals and whammy guitar at the end is just incredible when played loud through good quality headphones Bedroom Acoustics - learning to play this one, just sounds great. I took a Muse hiatus for about 5 months and Recess single handedly brought me back.
  3. Uprising Resistance New Born + YYZ Outro + Micro Cuts Outro + Headup riff Map of the Problematique + Maggie's Farm Hysteria Supermassive Poop Hole Undisclosed Desires Feeling Good Plug In Baby Time is Running Out + Voodoo Child riff Stockholm Syndrome + Matt's guitar noises Knights of Cydonia Unnatural Selection United States of Eurasia Nishe Exogenesis Pt 1 Helsinki Jam Starlight Only been to one gig
  4. Safe to say we'll be seeing just about every OoS song from Reading in here except maybe New Born (KROQ 2004 still holds that crown). Every clip I've seen from Leeds so far has just been absolutely immense.
  5. I just watched all of Rock AM Ring 2010 and I have to say that was just an amazing gig overall.. even the songs I don't really care much for sounded awesome.. the ending to Hysteria Matt played was pure awesome. This destroys any MK Ultra out there.. The OoS style scream alone at 2:23 is just worth it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Opf29aQLNnI
  6. It's so weird seeing KoC without cO2 and lights I loved the intro of that session where all of the bands are playing Superstition and Matt's just fudging around on the Kaoss pad.
  7. Seems like the Detroit Red Wings (NHL) use Uprising every time the visitors score, the "They will not force us" part. Which is weird because you think that would pump the visitors up and not the home team. The Dallas Stars also seem to use Uprising and Hysteria quite a bit.
  8. MK Ultra. I remember why I liked it so much. For me, it's quite possibly one of the most mental riffs for Muse especially with the Kaoss going off in the background. I just don't know why Matt looks so calm when he plays the outro.. if he really rocked out during the Turin pro shot it would've been sooooooooo awesome. The guitar just didn't have the punch in Turin as it does for the album.
  9. Feeling Good - Glastonbury 2010 I find the older Matt gets, his softer songs get much better vocal wise but the heavier songs and screams suffer. Feeling Good sounded amazing at Glastonbury 2010, especially the outro. Citizen Erased - Wembley 2010 Again ties into the getting older thing, he closes out the final part of the song perfectly. Plus it includes the Glastonbury 04 riff. Fury - Wiltern Theater 2004 / Orleans, France 2004 Screams, faster tempo just a pure rocking performance. Orleans had him humming in falsetto you hear in the background of the studio version in place of the final verse. Sounds amazing. New Born - KROQ 2004 Back when New Born was still played at a fast tempo... plus the magic solo Stockholm Syndrome - Earls Court 2004 Still have not topped this one. Scream to falsetto at the end and high energy. Too bad after 2005 Matt sounds like he's getting punched in the face and kicked in the stomach on the last "I wish I could". Time Is Running Out - Glastonbury 2010 Perfect crowd atmosphere and they nailed down the instrumentation. Plus I'm a big fan of the Power of Soul riff.
  10. it was brutal that's why if muse covered little wing, there's no way it could be worse than prague because the song is already awesome and matt's perfectly able to play hendrix riffs would love to see him go off on the little wing solo live in my head it's sort of realistic since dom loves hendrix as well. I'm sure chris has no arguments against it either and regardless, he'd lose 2:1 the only thing i see is matt saying he's "not technical enough" to do it which I'm sure is untrue if he can go nuts on The Groove.
  11. Little Wing - Jimi Hendrix can't be worse than Prague.. ALSO. Why is Hey Joe not in the MuseWiki riffs and jams? I'm pretty sure it's more likely that Muse would cover Hey Joe and not Whole Lotta Love especially if they play their own version of Fire right after it.
  12. Another vote here for SS EC over SS GB04. Riffs at the end are great but the song is what makes it, not the riffs at the end. All the screams are in the right place at EC and the vocals are immense. Anyone else notice that New Born got slower for the tour this year? I was listening to HAARP and Hullabaloo and compared it to what I heard this year and it's almost at yawn-speed now compared to 2001-2007..
  13. Resistance. I was okay with the album, then I heard it live when they came here and the crowd singing along to "could be wrong" was just amazing so I was on a Resistance streak.. then I got tired of it again. I listened to the Glastonbury version with the Double Neck intro and it sounds unbelievable! Great song. I'm actually a little surprised they haven't played Invincible since Matt got this guitar
