Just re-watched Showbiz from Reading 06 and it reminded me how amazing it is. Wish we had a pro live version mp3 (other than Hullaballoo) but I guess it will do. Unless someone could point me to a HQ 06 Reading mp3? All the ones I've found were terrible quality.

I remember watching this thinking it wasn't a big deal because it was the first full concert I'd seen after becoming a Muse fan and I always listened to Showbiz from Hullabaloo. Now I realize how rare it is and after watching it again it sends shivers down my spine. Also, I think that's the most epic headbanging Chris has ever done. It looks like his head is going to separate from his neck at about 3:40 Honestly they should bring this song back.. it's from Showbiz blah blah they don't like Showbiz songs but mature Muse sound so good playing it as opposed to younger Muse. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-MBgmzbUYx0

here's my GA story in Vancouver lol First time at a concert and it's Muse as GA. I figured, since I play ice hockey quite a lot, there's no way a concert can be more intense than a physical game of hockey. It wasn't, but it's a different kind of intensity. As soon as Uprising started everyone went psycho and I may have expended all of my energy then because by the time Uprising started and Resistance began, I had to cool down and try to get some air but people were still going nuts. The first 4 or 5 songs are usually high tempo before you really get to cool down with USoE. The point is, pace yourself. Also, drink lots of water before the gig and take some with you if you feel you need it. Eat something before you go as well because you're gonna need a bit of energy. At around Unnatural Selection I somehow ended up behind a wall of people who were just standing around until everybody started jumping again. After you've been where the rowdy stuff is, the tame stuff is so boring and you want to get back in the action. It's fine if you need to cool off for a bit but I almost couldn't enjoy Time Is Running Out because of where I was. Also, you better brace yourself for when the Eyeballoons are released, when Stockholm is played and when Knights is played because that and Uprising is when people seemed to go the most crazy. By the end of the gig my ears were ringing through and through and I was absolutely drenched and thirsty as hell. My calves were incredibly sore as well too. Top that with the fact that I finally got my MK Ultra shirt, that was one of the most amazing nights I've had in a while. It's an absolute blast and I hope Muse come back here in the Fall.

my friend wants to get to the front without waiting in line. I'm pretty sure i'll be very close to the time of my finals for my classes on that day so skipping isn't really an option. I asked him how he's gonna get to the front, he said "push my way through". Having kept up with the thread since day one, I would say that classifies as a dick move. As much as I'd love to be at the front, is there anything i should say to let him know that that would be a no-no?

chill out at the side or back of the pit from what i've been reading it's only intense at the front - mid and on matts side.. anyone in the pit will be closer to muse than seated people so regardless of where you are in the pit it should be awesome kind of a dumb questino but the back is going to be a lot easier to breathe and it probably won't be as sweaty right?

Yeah, as much as I'd like to experience the intense feeling of the floor crowd, getting out of the show with bruises and other people's sweat just isn't my idea of a good time.

this thread makes me feel like flipping my GA ticket.. Only reason I got it was because the two friends I'm going with "NEED" to be in the pit whereas I'd rather get away from all the abuse and intensity and just enjoy the show. However if Pacific Coliseum has seats for GA I guess that would work or if the back is tame in the pit I wouldn't mind doing that.. Any idea how long it'll be before I get my tickets from Concert Maps? I'm probably gonna try and ask my friend from work to get me a seat with him.

I seem to be hearing more and more of the same 2 songs on the local Rock station here (99.3 the Fox) Starlight and Time is Running Out. I think they play 1 of 2 every day which is a big step from once in a blue moon. Also a while back after they played KoC I remember them saying Muse are making a Classical album
