You know how sometimes a song washes just washes over you as you listen to the rest of the album? But then one day BAM! Its hits you, and you think "hey - that's a great track, why haven't I noticed that one before?"

For me, although many rave over "Cave" on Showbiz, I could always take it or leave it. Now - its played full blast and is repeated a lot. So which song have you JUST DISCOVERED the awesome of?

Yes ok but this one's also about rediscovering, if I understand the thread-starter well.

The idea of the thread was for those songs which, of course, we 'heard' but did nothing for us. Then for some reason one day, they were heard in a different light and SUDDENLY became a fave. So yes, its about discovering and not rediscovering. Anyway, anyone had a similar experience to my 'Cave' ?

Another one happened to me driving back from the Muse gig (Madrid 20.10.12): we were listening to 'I Belong to You' from the Resistance album (listened to the other albums on the way there!!!) and I realised its actually a really great track. Previously I'd never listened to it, or appreciated it but its awesome!!

but do we seriously need two separate threads for the two things? I mean "hey, Cave's awesome!" and "I haven't heard Cave in a while but hey, Cave's awesome" aren't that different. not different enough to make two threads about it anyway....

Maybe it'll help if you chose a thread title that didn't sound similar, like "Songs that you previously couldn't give half a nut about, but you're suddenly nuts about it now".

This sounds like a thread I would make. :p

Great idea! I did try it (see title of first post) but it didn't reflect in the main menu :stunned:
