Muse-addict
I got introduced to sunburn by a friend, didn't really like it at first but I heard it again a few months later and it really grew on me, thank god for that
Dom152
'Intro' because someone had lent me 'Absolution' so I could hear the piano parts in it. Naturally I listed to the album in order so the first MUSE track I heard was some feet stomping on the ground.
ZakkyChan
First Muse song I heard was Hysteria. Back then, I had no idea what song it was or who it was by, and I had heard of Muse but never actually listened to their music. A few years later I listened to BHAR and now I love Muse! Severian
I first heard Hysteria on the radio, but it took me a while to find out it was Muse. Then I went out and bought all the albums I could get my hands on.
OriginOfChaos
I was the SS vid. The heat sensor cam had me a little hypnotised so I waited till the end to see who it was and behold it was Muse. One of those moments in your life you remember vividly *lone tear*
night
I first heard Hyper Music and my reaction was "I never heard a more brilliant bass line in my whole life". After that, I started checking out their other stuff..
unintended_777
Muse was the band that led me to stop listening to all the boy bands I used to be into (Nsync and such). After I heard them on MuchMusic, I believe that's what it was called, well what formerly known as Fuse...I saw the video for Time is Running Out. It was amazing...Absolution was the first rock CD I ever bought.

BlissBorn
First Muse song I heard was "Our Time is Running Out" on some Euro 2004 video, and after that I was hooked. When I first heard them I just noticed like how they just don't sound like the typical rock stuff that's popular nowadays, u know the ones that play the same crap over and over again with new retarded lyrics. Even in Time Is Running Out I could hear the Eastern influence in his music and that's what attracted. I couldn't help but dance along tho, lol Before I heard them first on the radio...the DJ said " here is a band that is gaining some popularity, but they've kind of been tagged as Radiohead sounding".. Then they played "Our Time is Running Out" and I dismissed what he said and owned the album within a few days
Bib
I first heard Hysteria and was like "What the.. This is good!" I found out who the band was and went out and bought Absolution the next week.
Subl1minal
I never liked Muse to begin with, Plug In Baby and Bliss would always come on t.v and i'd have to turn it over. But as soon as i heard Supermassive Black Hole i decided to check them out, then Apocalypse Please a year or so on and i just thought wow? is this what i've been missing out on all this time? fuck!! I seriously can't describe the feeling i got when i first heard Apocalypse Please, but it was euphoric to say the least and that's what channeled me into the Muse consciousness

lukester911
to be honest, at the age I first heard them it, sadly, seemed nothing more than background noise. Now that I'm at a more appreciative age... it was more like...
Clavman
The first song I heard was 'Sunburn'. I thought it was f***ing great! It's still one of my favourites. I also said to myself that Matt's voice sounded a bit like Thom Yorke's.

RyanRedd
I, like many, first heard "Time is Running Out" on my radio station in Seattle around the time Absolution came out. I actually didn't really like how Matt would make a noise when he inhaled, it annoyed me so that I didn't listen to the song a lot (though I liked the harmonies). Then later, when Hysteria was released, I was like, okay my feelings have completely changed and now I love every song haha.
