considering the reasoning behind the song and the lyrics, how he wanted it to come out quickly while the feeling was still relevant,

i think this song can be a bit forgiven

Really, this could have replaced Guiding light/I belong to you(but leaving the french bit) and I would be okay with that.

 

Pretty much agree with that. This is a similar song to guiding light but vastly superior. I think it will be good live - no need for shame in a stadium full of musers.

It's good The beginning and the second verse with the arpeggios are very cheesy, and "snowflakes in an ocean"?!

But the chorus, especially the second one, is wonderful. I also like the bridge right before it.

So, a mix of cheese and emotion, with the emotion outweighing the cheese for me

It would appear from my attempts at browsing comments that it is a Marmite song, you love it or hate it. I hate marmite, but i love this song

I like it.

 

First time I played it I had lots of fun just doing lots of cheesy moves, like I have done when I've played Guiding Light - just rocking out in a park doing a lot of cheesy rock air-guitaring and fist-pumping gestures.

 

I did the same thing. Then I wanted to dance like the kid in the

. Then I turned it up and resorted to more fist pumping with a serious look on my face.

 

I'm on my third listen. It's REALLY not that fucking terrible. I think cheesy Muse is kind of endearing. Hopefully we don't end up hearing this stuff at our (US) shows. We probably will though .
