Please do. Matt writes 90% of the music, has a unique style of guitar playing and a unique voice.

 

Hardly replaceable.

 

I don't really think any of them are replaceable though. They just make up Muse too well for one of them to be replaced.

Newer Muse songs are as good as older Muse songs, imo.

I just really miss the old days where there was riff after riff after riff, angsty lyrics and Matt belting like he was being belted.

But I just like the older songs better. Probably because they were a little creepier and darker back then, and Matt's voice was really cute and high and stuff.

 

The first three albums, I, er, I love pretty much all the songs. But there are great margins of songs that I am not particularly keen on, on the newest two. That's all. I don't have a vendetta against Muse trying to change their image.

Contray to popular opinion, I think this is infact controversial. I love TSP and I'd much rather hear it at a gig (mainly to go insane to).

 

Not taking anything away from Fury, it's a beautiful song, and I think it should've been on Absolution instead of FAWY (c'mon, they've never even played it live) or TOADA (great song but reeks of B-side, probably TSP's ugly sister, and it's too similar to TSP)

The Beginning of Exogenesis Part 1 sucks!!!

 

Just the strings before the band kicks in, it is just a poorly written string piece with poor execution as well. This strongly lets down Exo. for me along with the "spread are coads to the stars bit" The rest is pure win though....
