Chris shouldn't sing the Hyper Music chorus. He just doesn't fit there with his vocal tone. Sounds dull and bland.

Better than the alternative.

 

Also I don't really care how it sounds, live that would just be a singalong moment for me.

Definitely, I couldn't even tell Chris was singing when I saw it because everyone else around me was singing along so loudly. That said though, I do prefer Chris singing it to Matt.

You do realise that the alternative is Matt straining and cracking all over the place?

 

Well, I know thats what people consider to be the alternative. He would probably slip into falsetto for the ends of lines, but I doubt that he would crack nowadays.

Also, Chris sounds strained to me most if the time. Dead Star from Zepp was fab, but most of the performances this year have been weak.
