    According to a Rock Sound magazine interview I read back in the day (late 2003), Matt claimed they didn't like how Serjican Strike was a part of Sony. Still, they hoped for a collaboration between them "one day".

    Bueno, es que en Idioteque hay que bailar sí o sí. De hecho, en su momento me apunté al grupo de Last. FM "We dance like Thom Yorke". Yo ahí lo doy todo Gracias por el enlace. Xenoblade es uno de esos pocos, pero buenos juegos que poseo de Wii, y su banda sonora es genial, pero a este no le había echado tanto el ojo por ser de una consola que no tengo. He podido jugar a más de un juego tras hacer escuchado alguna canción de sus bandas sonoras. ¡Demos gracias a los creadores de emuladores!

    Pues sí, palabra arriba, palabra abajo, dijo eso, el muy... Ni que todos los fans fueran pro-taurinos asesinavaquillas o algo Así que tuviste una suerte tremenda. Sé que cuando los vea en directo va a ser difícil que no me comporte en plan fan histérica. Mi época metalera coincidió con el auge del nu metal y tal, y creo que sólo la dejé cuando me enfrasqué en el Absolution. Ahí me dio por cosas indies y progresivas gracias a estos chicos... ¿Y ahora? Creo que lo que más escucho son bandas sonoras de videojuegos XD A ver si te gusta la RDL. Si no, te aconsejo otra más, y esta es gratis: la Mondosonoro. Yo la solía conseguir en mi facultad, pero supongo que se podrán conseguir de varios modos. De hecho, no me extrañaría que se pudiera conseguir en digital.

    Yo también. Por el bien de su bolsillo espero que no sea como TKOL.Ojalá hagan una gira por España algún día. Cómo me dolió perderme aquel concierto de Las Ventas (sí, ese que hizo que Thom afirmara que no volverían a Madrid porque "olía a muerte". Si mal no recuerdo, por aquel entonces el Palacio de los Deportes aún estaba en reconstrucción y no había más pabellones grandes en Madrid). Sí, lo hicieron hace algún tiempo. Compraba la revista religiosamente desde que era Rock Sound pese a que ya no leía los artículos como antes. En mis tiempos pre-Internet, y debido a mis gustos, había meses que casi atracaba el kiosco. En el caso de Muse, era la risa, ya que me compraba la Rock Zone, la Metal Hammer, la Kerrang!, la Heavy Rock, la Rolling Stone... y hasta la Loka Por culpa de Muse, una vez compré la Guitarrista, y posiblemente tenga la mejor entrevista que he leído a Matt, posiblemente por centrarse en aspectos puramente musicales en un grado más o menos técnico. Si tienes pasta para gastarte de tanto en tanto y te va el indie, la RDL es tu revista. Tienen alguna sobrada, pero hacen buenos artículos. Y los CDs que incluyen siempre me han ayudado a descubrir cosas... como los de la vieja Rock Sound. De hecho, de un tiempo a esta parte sólo me compro el número de enero, si es que lo hago. XD

    Lo que me ha dejado bastante sorprendida en los comentarios ha sido cómo han "dejado caer" que las otras páginas (como JNSP, a la que empecé a seguir más tras dejar a Hipersónica de lado, aunque le falta ese regusto más duro que compensaba con revistas tipo Rock Zone, de quienes me dolió que se pasasen al digital solo) ponen notas más altas por compromiso y que sólo ellos parecen ser los únicos que no se casan con nadie. Creo que eso no lo he visto ni en Rockdelux, y mira que su lista de "los peores discos del año"-cuando la incluían-solían coincidir con mi lista de preferidos XD

    No sé cuánto tiempo llevaréis echándoles un ojo a Julián Ruiz y a los de Hipersónica, pero de esta gente ya se sabe lo que va a pasar cuando Muse sacan disco. Ni los de Pitchfork la lían tan parda en ese sentido. De hecho, esa es una de las razones por las que dejé de seguir Hipersónica. Ojo, no por "mamá, en el cole se meten con mius", sino por ese "jajajajajaja, Muse, jojojojojojo, flipados, jejejejejeje, me voy a escuchar a mis grupos de hardcore deathpost progresivo, que esos no son tan creídos, jejejejeje, Coldplay y Mumford & Sons son caca, juejuejue". Como alguien a quien le gustaría vivir de la crítica musical, me da una rabia inmensa cuando el plumilla de turno suelta sus filias y fobias de un modo tan exagerado, intentando convertirlo en una especie de meme quemadísimo.

    So you are not attending Muse gigs anymore because you worry about what other people could think of your tastes. Right. Also, there's a thing called "headphones". I'm from Spain and I hate corny lyrics. Having said that, Matt has always had crappy ones around (Intant Messenger, anyone?), so I have never worried a lot about them. It's just that the Cheese-o-meter has been reaching critical levels as of the last albums, leaving all subtle undertones far away. By the way, I fail to see what's makes "Uprising" so genius-like (I like the song itself, though), considering it's just a "Doctorin' the TARDIS" rework with vague statements of "us" versus "them" which not even RATM at their most demagogue moment would ever dare to pull. And then there was that live performance with the towers and such. If they wanted to evoke a fascist rally feel, they did on me. I don't think that was the case, but... As for their magic, well... I felt they lost most of it past Absolution. Why am I here still? Because Muse mean a lot to me and they're still a great band.

    De hecho, yo diría que hay más diferencias entre el portugués de Portugal y el brasileño que entre variantes de español americanas y el español-de-España. Yo tengo familia por allí. De uno de mis abuelos Los únicos latinos son los antiguos habitantes de la zona del Lacio (que no del equipo de fútbol XD). Cómo me desquicia que se aplique "Latinoamérica" sólo a la parte de habla española, cuando también cubre a las de otras lenguas. Y luego cuando se acorta a "latinos", peor aún. Y cuando se usa en inglés para referirse a gente de ascendencia hispanoamericana, peror aún. Pero el daño ya está hecho, me temo. Creo que todo esto vino por culpa de Napoleón y sus movidas mexicanas...

    I have no idea. It just wouldn't go past that. Some days later, it worked correctly. The CD was okay, since I blasted it when I reached home. I still remember the Cornetto strawberry ice cream I ate whilst listening to it.

    CD+Spotify for me, as I fear I won't be able to carry my Discman to the store and listen the album on my way home, just like I used to until BHAR. And even then, it wouldn't go past the first part of "Take a Bow".

    It always was one of my favourite BSB songs, so fine with me. My 2001 self would find it hysterical, though. One thing's for sure: that "deaaad insiiiide!" sounds too much like a Max Martin work (can't tell if one for Britney Spears, *NSYNC or BSB) in the late Nineties/early Noughties.

    I wouldn't mind if they ever covered "Foreplay/Long Time". "Foreplay" alone would do the trick for me.

    I'm afraid all I can provide's the quote from the Rock Sound magazine it came from: "I am sick of all those groups which sound like Radiohead. It seems to me as if they were all companies. Muse are more interested in paying their bills than making good music." Funnily, the same issue had an interview with Muse in which Matt said that Feeling Good would be a B-side. I translated it from the Spanish version, but if anyone still owns another RS issue printed in another language from those days (early 2001), I'd advise to check it, considering that the different RS branches often shared articles.

    That'd be awesome. Too bad Mogwai don't like Muse (I remember having read one ages ago in which one of the members said that Muse created music "to pay their bills" or something along the lines of that).

    If any, it makes me sing louder to compensate. But yes, it might be a bit sad at times. I remember when I saw them last time and I got a ticket on one of those .mu ticket presales, which in my case was more of a post-sale.... I fet a bit down when barely anyone in my zone (people who know Muse better) didn't react to the likes of "Host" or "Falling Down". Then again, being a hardcore fan!=prefering their older stuff!
