Hey guys and gals!

Chromatones' debut EP 'New Worst Nightmare' is now available to purchase on iTunes, just search us on the top right and buy away!

Standard, seemingly mandatory link to our MySpace in my signature (I don't like MySpace personally but hey, it seems to work)

I'm plugging my friends band, one I help with by lugging their kit around, posting pornogenic photos of them and being a general groupie.

They are called Teal. Hopefully they'll be hitting Coaster festival this year on the Central Coast, NSW, Australia if anyone by some chance on an international forum attend :p

Guessing most people are here cause you like Muse. They're quite inspired by them as well as The Mars Volta, Radiohead and a variety of video games :D

They might release a demo CD one day.

I like their first song, haven't listened to the others. I really like the drummer's style, but the bass tone is appaulling. I'm listening on my laptop shitty speakers and I can still hear this bass tone trying to prod me in the ear drum. I can't listen to the other songs because I know it'll be the same on all of them. Get him to sort it out FS.

EDIT: I only comment on shit I can hear real potential in by the way, sorry to be so negative.

You can really hear the Radiohead influence in the vocals, particullarly on New Towers! I'll agree about the bass tone - it is just prodding away woth no real impact.

Will do. It's his stupid amp and possibly the mixing. It's been broken for a fair while and I think it was at the recording. He should grab the 70's PA system and stay with that, sounded amazing live.

I think they have a lot of potential. I am so fussy with what I listen to, but I didn't skip any of that. The song structure is great, can definitely hear the radiohead influences and loved the trem guitar in New Towers.

I don't currently have a band :(

But I write and record music regardless - this is my latest work in progress

and I've finished recordings of several others on my youtube channel:

I've a lot more written and notated, but not yet recorded. Vocal melodies are written for everything but also not recorded as not really happy with my voice.

Feedback welcome :)
