norwichred
Well, I'm stunned. the Big Weekend takes place five minutes from my house! Been moaning about it for months as Norwich has been acting like its the second coming of Christ or something. And they haven't put any contingency plans for parking and stuff into place. And I hate radio one. BUT I gave my debit card to my sister to get tickets for my niece as they needed an address in Norwich and as an evil unwanted gift she got me and my partner tickets for the Saturday (they got tickets for Sunday). Needless to say I'm well happy now
Destroya
Foo Fighters are headlining the Sunday, really wish I was going to that too but I'm so still in shock of Muse playing! Sadly couldn't get a Sunday ticket.

OriginOfGeorgia
Ahhh bollocks, would love to have tickets for this just for Muse and Foos tbh.

Destroya
Will it be streamed or broadcasted on radio? Seeming as it is branded as Radio 1's Big Weekend, I guess it will be. And filmed too by the BBC so we'll get some nice proshots eventually.
Tobiiiaaas
Will it be streamed or broadcasted on radio? It's generally broadcast on TV on BBC3
KimiFerrari
Is it only exclusive to norwich residents? :S I would love to buy some Saturday tickets off someone but live in southend and not sure if there's any rules like you have to show the card you got them with and i.d to get in. Had no luck with tickets so far
norwichred
Tickets "sold out" long ago. But they were free and it's illegal to sell them. Priority were to Norwich residents but some were for sale to outsiders. After 11 years living here, I have finally found a positive to doing so

Had no luck with tickets so far It was something like 50% to Norwich, then the next 45 (maybe) split between Norwich postcodes and the rest of East Anglia, 5% to the rest of the country. Though they sold out within the hour they were released so you can only get them through competitions now

Feels like it's been too long since my last muse gig! Norwich is a lovely city btw! I'd rather live there than southend
CarpetBomber
Pleased Muse are playing in my hometown. Not pleased I couldn't get tickets. Hope those who have tickets don't take these guys for granted!!! If anyone out there is feeling charitable, I would offer good money for your ticket. Destroya
According to the Newbeat website, they are thinking of unveiling another song here. Wonder which one? Seeming as they said they'd be playing Citizen Erased and its sequel (The Globalist) on the 'next tour' I hope it's that.
norwichred
What happened the last time they played that was such a "disaster"? They said it was 2012 but I can't find them even playing that year.
Uccellino
It'll be interesting to see the crowd response as I'm guessing quite a high number of them will be new to Muse. Radio 1 are preparing them though, heard Plug In Baby get played tonight driving home.

They played a Radio 2 gig and it was a bit of a joke. Matt giggled his way through TIRO
