The general consensus seems to be that the Kemper is better for amp emulation while the axe fx is better for effects I don't really tend to use the effects on the kemper much, apart from the occasional drive and a touch of reverb Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I am having a rack made with an effects draw so the kemper works better for me. Just bought some tone hammer mark 5 and vh4 merged profiles, they are very good. Neil. Posted April 24, 2015 Share Posted April 24, 2015 I don't have the money for one now, but early next year I'm emigrating and I'll be getting a whole new rig/selling the old one. I'm looking at a way that I can be efficient at having a rig adaptable for both guitar and bass. Kemper with a Poweramp and a nice cab seems to be a way that I can do just that.
