I think is better the 007 will be safe and sound at Matt's home, so he can use her to record songs. Going on tour with Matt can be dangerous if you are a guitar (or if you are Dom).

well he's highly unlikely to throw it, other than that one time on the absolution tour where he dropped it in a dumpster and the occasional absolution tour kamikaze he's taken a lot of care to preserve it

Also found it "In an interview with Guitar Player (July 2010) magazine, Matt explained that he does not use this guitar live very much due to it's weight and the fact that it's much louder than his other guitars. "The one I used the most on The Resistance is called “Black Ed.” It has a really amazing tone, but it’s extremely heavy, and it’s also louder than all of my other guitars, so it doesn’t quite work for performing live. It has a few gizmos in it, as well—a Z.Vex Wah Probe, a Z.Vex Fuzz Factory, and an MXR Phase 90."" Thankyou MuseWiki

"...the occasional absolution tour kamikaze..."

You lost me at "occasional." The guy has the world record for most guitars destroyed on a tour; and it was that exact tour 😜

Back on topic:

Matts guitars are awesome and I'm hoping for a bit more extra roughness and beefiness in sound that you usually only see on live versions of songs.

I'd love them to put a "raw" new jam on the new album or as a bside.
