ryanp16
I enjoy GL, Soldier's Poem or Explorers much more. This. Although live I'd probably rather get Save Me just so I can say I've seen it.
kueller
I enjoy GL, Soldier's Poem or Explorers much more. Soldier's Poem is nice. Explorers has nice chords too I guess. Although live I'd probably rather get Save Me just so I can say I've seen it. I don't understand this logic.
Hat
I don't understand this logic. Didn't you know? The number of muse songs you've seen live is a great merit on your resumè.
Dockertae
I get it, but I just inherently enjoy collecting things.
serpentsatellite
I can be a bit of a hoarder... erm... collector myself. But I haven't crossed that line to collecting things that I don't like. Or that bore me for 5 and a half minutes.
PlugInYorkie
I saw Sunburn followed by Citizen Erased in Perth and Hyper Music played after the encore 😃 I think I'd rather all of the above over nearly 6 minutes of blandness! Sorry Chris.
kueller
I get it, but I just inherently enjoy collecting things. So do I but for the cost of a Muse concert I'd prefer to get a song I enjoy repeatedly than a song I don't once.
serpentsatellite
I think the choices were between Save Me and Explorers, Soldiers' Poem, and Guiding Light. Not songs people actually want to see. That's like saying I'd rather see awesome rare songs than be poked in the eye. (In reference to PIY, of course)
kueller
Wouldn't mind seeing Save Me or Soldier's Poem.
redneonfish
Isn't it bit of a moot point anyway, because there was the dedicated 'Chris slot'. I enjoyed both Save Me and Liquid State live. I found Save Me to be surprisingly enjoyable, because it's pretty dreamy and hypnotic.
serpentsatellite
I guess I wouldn't have minded seeing Save Me once instead of Liquid State twice, but not in place of any other songs. The (admittedly very, very few) videos of Save Me, though, looked like they were lacking vocally, and at least Liquid State is shorter. I just want the damn album to be done already. For some reason I was able to be much more patient with the last two. Must be getting old.

It finishes before it really gets going (ooer).
Spectrum IV
[soundcloud] [/soundcloud] Wouldn't mind a couple of chiptune-y synths on album seven.
Zepp
Even though LS is merely a Hysteria-wannabe, it's not that bad live provided Chris doesn't fuck the vocals up. It allows Matt to rest his voice a little so I tend to see it as an extra song.
clydebank
[soundcloud] [/soundcloud] Wouldn't mind a couple of chiptune-y synths on album seven. If that happens, then it's all over for Muse in my opinion. Never understood the fascination for chiptune. Not that I thought it wasn't all over after the last album. Mattestro
[soundcloud] [/soundcloud] Wouldn't mind a couple of chiptune-y synths on album seven. Nope. Anyway, studio wise I prefer Save Me, but live I'd prefer Liquid State.

nerd herd
[soundcloud] [/soundcloud] Wouldn't mind a couple of chiptune-y synths on album seven. Reminds me of one of the boss levels in Super Mario Land Save Me and LS are pretty good songs. I still think Chris sounds like the guy from Pendulum

Black4bird
I'm sure this has been mentioned a 100 times before this post, but since I'm mostly a lurker so I'm gonna go ahead anyway. I like Save Me. I really like the lyrics. When they performed it the first time (before the album came out) it really got to me.. Somehow the insecure performance of Chris made it a lot more relatable. The album version is kinda lifeless though and I do think the song is way too long. The last chorus kinda is a bit too much. I never really cared for Liquid State (which is ironically too short). It's a good live song though.
