It's definitely being played into the arenas.

 

Watching the gymnastics on BBC Olympic 9 and the whole song was played before the gymnasts came out, it even got a bit of applause from the audience.

Yeah, I think that was when i twas supposed to be played, before/when the athletes are announced.

It must be played at times when the athletes aren't there yet so the tv rarely shows it. Like you said, before/as they enter the arena can't wait to sing along when I'm there i'll get the crowd going

I have yet to hear the song played once, on any channel covering the Olympics.

I was watching gymnastics on the red button earlier and it was played before the gymnasts entered, the whole song too. It probably is played most times before the athletes enter an arena/event but we just don't hear it because the BBC don't always show the entrances

They played it twice today at the City of Coventry Stadium, once before each Football Match. Was pretty awesome. I even heard someone exclaim "Oh, it's Muse."

The whole song as in the whole song or the whole song as in the crappy video cut up version that has half the guitar riffs and solos missing and verses shortened?? I really hope they're playing the whole thing.
