There are plenty of Muse songs that are excellent live, and there are plenty of songs that are just terrible live. Post your favorite/least favorite live song here!

Mine: fav is US, least fav is UD.

These kind of questions are always difficult...

Maybe my favourite would be...MotP or PiB or SS (mostly because of it's awesome live outro riffs! :D) But I'll choose...hmm...wait...

After five minutes of thinking, I came to a conclusion. It's impossible to say their best live song.

But, their worst live song is definitely Undisclosed Desires. It just doesn't fit as a live song, yet they play it because it it so popular.

Worst? TIRO. Soo boring.

Best? Knights Of Cydonia!

What?!? TIRO is boring live?? It is and will always be one of their best live songs!! But you have your opinions, can't blame you for that. But I agree that KoC is really good live!

Of the ones I've seen:

Best (can't pick just one):

Bliss

Take A Bow

Stockholm Syndrome

Citizen Erased

I Belong To You

Butterflies and Hurricanes

Cave

Ruled By Secrecy

MK Ultra

Map of the Problematique

Worst (can't pick just one here either):

Undisclosed Desires

New Born (because it was some of the lamest shit ever this tour)

Guiding Light

Feeling Good

Time Is Running Out

TIRO is far too overrated for its own good.

I never understood why people like TIRO so much.

Best: Stockholm Syndrome (many many riffs please), KoC, CE, all of that stuff.

Worst: GL and NSC share the spot of shame

Best: Bliss or RBS

Worst: UD or GL

UD would be my second worst.

The worst performance for me was at the Casino de Paris where there weren't even any visuals to distract from the boredom of the song. I ended up just looking around at the audience, checking my phone etc till it was over.

KoC is incredible live. The studio recording of resistance is incredible too, one of my fave songs of all time, but for some reason it doesnt sound as good live.

Same here. I only went to the Wembley gigs in 2010 and looked around the stadium during UD, checked my bracelets and neon sticks, adjusted my jacket and purse and all that jazz. Pretty useful song if you think about it...???;)

I loved Starlight live but I am a little biased since it's my favorite song

Stockholm Syndrome was one song that I never really liked the studio version of but live it was amazing

Undisclosed Desires was pretty bad so I suppose I'll say it's their worst even though I've only been to one gig

best : TIRO, no other Muse song gets all the crowd going like it. Personal fave is probably Ruled By Secrecy, safe to say I wasnt expecting it after all the other treats at Wembley.

worst: Supermassive Black Hole? It was awesome when they debuted it live, then they castrated it.

I agree with this. I want to see Cave, Citizen Erased, Take A Bow, and Bliss so bad live! Stockholm Syndrome is awesome live. I agree with New Born because when they played it when I saw them, the sound was so jacked up, it was like they blasted it so much that the sound was not clear.

From the gig I went to, in order like above.

Fantastic

Newborn (If it was weak this tour I'd like to see what it was like before)

Citizen Erased

Knights of Cydonia

Uprising (Mostly because of its position as an opener)

Sunburn

United States of Eurasia

----------------

Great/Pretty Good

MotP

Hysteria

SBH

Plug in Baby (This may have been better than I remember it being on second thoughts)

Overture

-----------------

Okay

Undisclosed Desires

Starlight

Resistance

Time is Running Out (Although his mic was malfunctioning)

My memory of SS is sketchy; I can't remember what it was like.

Ahem...I refer you to

from 0.36 to 0.44...

Anyway, I'm sad to say that I agree with the comments about New Born...Something's missing at the moment somehow...Songs that I find I'm slightly bored through tend to be the Undisclosed Desires, Starlight, Supermassive Black Hole, Uprising, etcs of the world...Whether it's that I've heard them too many times, or it's the tedium of knowing how many people there ONLY know those songs that I hate, I don't know...(I was listening to the Wembley show on the 10th from the outside, and there were literally thousands of people leaving as soon as the main set finished, and then throughout the encore, throughout Stockholm Syndrome, Take A Bow, Plug In Baby, etc, none of them smiling except for one or two...I was actually disgusted to be honest because I knew a number of people who couldn't get tickets...Needless to say it was the genuine fans who waited till the end and came out of the stadium with their minds blown)...

As far as best songs go, I guess part of it is hearing the rarer ones and your favourites...For example RbS at Wembley was so unexpected that I don't think I could really take in what I was hearing because I was so shocked XD. Shame that took away from it a bit. I'm willing to bet songs like Dead Star are up there but I've never had the privilege of experiencing it in person...As far as set staples go, SS obviously has to be up there for the chorus (the whole crowd pointing to the sky in unison for the "this is" part is always awesome to see XD)...

Best:

I was really blown away by RbS at Wembley, it just made me feel so awed.

Really like SS, CE, MK, Bliss, SS and, prior to this tour, NB (it was a bit lame this tour).

The way they started with Exo at the Stockholm-gig at the beginning of the tour really made that song stand out as well. Can't really pick just one favourite since it depends on the gig and my mood.

My worst is Feeling Good though, it's just so fucking booring...
