    I'm old enough to be YOUR mother and I only became a fan three years ago. My kids saw them before I did. My husband went with me to see them last year and my son will go with me this year.

    I'm not surprised, either. There is no age limit to loving wonderful music. My Dad watched Top of the Pops with me and my sisters every week until he died in the early 80s. Get your grandmother to set up an account here and contribute to the Oldies thread. I think I'm the oldest contributor at the moment!

    No, you shouldn't stop listening to Muse. Yes, you ARE welcome here. If you go to the off-topic section you will find a thread called The Rainbow Club II (mental health). You will find some very understanding and supportive people there. NEVER let anyone tell you what music you can and can't listen to. They have no right to tell you what to do.

    Welcome to the board! Both my children saw Muse in 2010, then the three of us saw them in 2013. My husband and I saw them earlier this year and my son and I will see them again next year. I am 55. Great music can be enjoyed by people of all ages!

    Thanks. I won't watch Mariah; I can't stand her, except for 'Vision of Love' and 'All I Want For Christmas.' One of my favourite broadcasters, Eamonn Holmes, once told a story about the time he was supposed to be interviewing Mariah on popular UK daytime programme, This Morning. 'One of her entourage said that Miss Carey was very tired and was lying down in her dressing room so I would have to interview her there. I said I was feeling very tired as well so I would just lie down with her. He said that wouldn't be possible so I told him, either she comes out here and sits down to be interviewed or I go there and lie down, too. The interview didn't take place.'

    I meant 'Showbiz.' So, Hyper Music has a higher note? I've never heard of teh whistle register. Is it different from falsetto?

    Is the note that Matt hits in 'Sunburn,' supposedly the highest-pitched note he sings in any recording, the highest-pitched note by any male singer in any recording of a song which isn't Western Art Music, commonly called 'classical music?'

    You can buy a little booklet with the dates for the entire year on it very cheaply and stick each page onto the bottom of the picture.

    I trained as a musician but only ever played professionally three times. I took the test years ago and can only remember E__J. I would never describe Matt Bellamy as an 'Introvert.'

    I'm slightly peeved that each ticket includes a copy of an album I already have and they are charging me postage to send them to me.
