  1. Thanks! Definitely better than top tier in the Emirates! Do they remove some of the seating when there are people standing, in which case the front row wouldn't start with A?
  2. I asked the same question and was told that the clock on the board was an hour behind. The sale started at 9.00am.
  3. Thanks! When I was there for T2L it was a Bank Holiday on the day we were due to travel home and we couldn't get a taxi. I can get one this time if it's wet but I might be better off bringing a fold-up wheelchair as the scooter needs a vehicle with a ramp which might limit the available taxis I can use.
  4. How do I find out how far from the front my row is? I'm in row U, BK 105.
  5. i SHOULD HAVE BEEN MORE SPECIFIC ABOUT 'WALKING DISTANCE.' Oops! I'm bringing a mobility scooter so is it more than two miles? Also, lupus is pretty horrible, isn't it? I'm posting in the wrong thread as I've bought tickets for 11/4.
  6. I have ME and I'm going to be knackered as it is so I didn't want to take any chances. Thanks for recommending the Greenwich Premier Inn. Last time I saw Muse in London I paid £75 a night for a grotty hotel with a grotty breakfast near St Pancras and still had to travel. My son lives in Hendon so it will be easier for him to just come to Greenwich. Is the hotel walking distance from the O2?
  7. I think they went by about 10.00. I'm sure you will have no problems getting a ticket when they go on general sale or watch this forum for people selling, legitimately, tickets they don't need. It does happen!
  8. I'm in block 105. Better than upper tier furthest from the stage at the Emirates! I've booked 2 nights in Premier Inn Greenwich. It cost £239.50 for just me but do you know what? I'm worth it!
  9. Very wise. What does VIP package get you? None at all, or none standing, or seated in your price range? There's a mid-price? I'm in block 105 row U. I think it's ridiculous to include albums in the ticket price but I'm going with my son who doesn't have a copy and I'll give mine to someone who couldn't afford to buy one when they came out. Thanks! I was definitely very confused!
  10. 2 seated Block 105. How come some people bought tickets before 9.00am when they didn't go on sale till 9.00?
  11. Can you imagine how many thousands of people would buy VIP packages if it meant meeting the band? You'd queue for hours for a photo. Mind you, it would probably be worth it but it would be a nightmare for security.
  12. There is a post on another thread telling people not to give away presale codes in case they are requested by touts. All I can tell you is to click 'members.' If you didn't register there before September 11, you won't get one. I'm sure there will be tickets left when they go on general sale.
  13. I thought VIP meant being able to meet the band but someone on another thread said it doesn't.
  14. It's probably too late to complain about the excessive cost of tickets for this tour but we could all bombard Dom Anderson with tweets asking for a stripped down show in large venues next time so everyone who wants to see Muse can afford to see them. I'm just happy that my daughter doesn't want to come with me this time. Last time she paid for her own ticket as she wanted to stand and I can't stand but we went to London the day before (it takes me 24 hours to recover from even a two-hour journey) and two nights in a grotty hotel cost £300. This time I'll be able to afford two nights just for me in a decent hotel and to travel on the train instead of the bus. I'm also hoping to get a seat near the front instead of a wheelchair space in the top tier. I was at the front on the wheelchair ramp at the Newport Centre and I felt like I was part of the fun standing crowd. I want that experience again. I don't care if the sound is lousy and as for looking at their backs for half of the gig, they all look as good from the back as they do from the front!
  15. It's the cost of staging the show. Tickets for the O2 start at £51.
  16. I have sent you a message or you can click 'Members' on the main page.
  17. I'm permanently logged into the members' area and I've got my presale code but I honestly can't remember how it works on the day. I'm sure someone will enlighten me.
  18. If the stage is in the middle, though, there won't be a front. I can always buy two ordinary seats and, if I change my mind, sell them through this site. I was lucky enough to see them in Newport in March. It's 12 miles from my house and the wheelchair spaces were in front of the seating at each side. Wonderful! I certainly have no complaints about travelling 150 miles to see Muse. Some of the boardies have to travel 12-24 hours without sleeping to see them. We are so lucky that the UK is so small. forevermusic, go on your own and you will make friends with other Musers when you get there.
  19. I'm sorry so many people will miss out because of the cost of tickets. I'm so happy they will play two nights in London. My son lives there and went to the Emirates with me in 2013 so it will make me happy to see him as well and to have a night out together. London is great for me because I'm disabled and the direct train takes about 2 hours. I can bring my mobility scooter so I will be completely independent. I won't buy a wheelchair space this time; the Emirates wouldn't sell me one till I got a letter from my doctor and it was two weeks before my ticket arrived. I had no choice in where I sat and all the best spaces were gone so I was almost as far away from the stage as it was possible to be. Luckily I'm not confined to a wheelchair so I can leave my scooter wherever the venue says won't cause a trip hazard and walk to a seat. I will be very anxious until I get a ticket but excited, too. Good luck to all of you who want to buy one! I did think about buying VIP tickets if it includes a meet with the band but I would be exhausted after the gig and more exhausted if hundreds of other people were waiting to meet them, too, so I'll keep my money for the cost of the hotel. I need to travel up the night before so I can rest so I have to pay for two nights. It's worth it,though, as I am a recent fan and have only seen them twice.
  20. Matt has just announced on the Chris Evans Breakfast Show that tickets for next year's European tour will be on general sale from Friday September 18 and to fans from Wednesday September 16!
