    My very on certicifat We are indeed planning on getting some studio recordings done soon, we're just fighting through all the technical difficulties at the moment, and trying to find a really decent space to record in. But by now we actually have enough material to record a whole album, so thats the plan.

    See if Doncaster has a musicians group on Facebook. Lots of pubs and clubs post in those looking for bands etc. And also do some open mic nights, get seen. And if not, go into pubs and clubs and ask if they do band nights. If they do, give them your details. ................... Profit?

    Yeah that was my concern with using an iPad. It was brought along as a last resort but I think once the recordings start getting too complicated it just wont keep us as well. We use a Mac with Pro Tools to do most of our recording and it handles it like a beast (when it actually works at all). Beast being a good thing.

    Yeah it really was just about perfect. We had all our gear set up in a converted barn thats just out of shot. Pretty much spot on recording wise because acoustically it was completely dead (in the good way). But alas we were foiled by technology

    Well we were planning on recording an album out in the country last weekend, but pretty much nothing at all got done because Pro Tools was being a wanker. However, we did do this, which kind of made it worth it:

    Gil Yaron is a great luthier, his recent 335 was amazing. Cant help but think that his attention to historic detail is a bit over the top though. Impressive, yes, but a bit over the top.

    Smirnoff Ice is actually great. Its the best thing in the world to find the morning after a night out when the only thing surrounding you is more alcohol. And I'm the same about uni at the moment. I'm finding that being at home is stifling my creativity somewhat Plus, getting this CBBC job has put me right in the mood to get back to filmmaking
