  1. Noooooooooooooo no no no no, thats certainly not the final recording! That was just a demo we did for the record company a few weeks ago. Thats the new arrangment, but we haven't actually started officially recording yet, that'll come later in the year. When that time comes we'll have much much much higher quality recordings done in the studio. We actually did that recording stuck in a freezing cold practice room with about three microphones Calling it the official music video was more of a marketing ploy to get people interested, from what I understand And to be honest, I don't really like this version. I love the new arrangement and I think musically it sounds good, but that has to be one of the weakest vocal performances I have ever given
  2. Two very nice setups in one day, success. May I ask why you have both the Boss and the Behringer delay?
  3. Thats actually a great setup. Those Fender Champs are fantastic (although I did have the cutting out issues too), and the Double Muff is one of my all time favourite pedals. Me gusta, basically.
  4. With the exception of the headstock and the top horn, that is freaking gorgeous.
  5. Nice, I like that design. Can you take some profile shots? Its hard to tell from the picture but it looks like there are various levels?
  6. Tempted to get a modern replacement for my nob. Less desirable but it should function better.
  7. Save your ££££££s and do it yourself, a good can of nitro is only about £15. Seriously easy.
  8. Couldnt they just change the switch surround? Wouldnt be so bad if it hadnt been mounted at an angle, makes it look even clunkier.
  9. Cheers Nitt. Doing some recording with out producer this weekend, so expect some more Tenants spam before long Nah to be fair I was only joking really. He's a great drummer and in all fairness he's definitely one of the easiest people to work with, especially in a band with my ego I tend to find I have more confrontations with our bassist, but we love each other really. The biggest problem we have with our drummer is that he likes to drum when we are discussing important things
  10. Cheers bby, thats me on le guitar and vocals, being a badass badass. Dom you make me so happy that I smile my happy smile. I'm going to write a song just for you and it will be called Dommeh I <3 u.
  11. Nice, you shouldd probably try find out some more about it. Come to think of it, I dont think Ive ever actually come across Dipinto before, are they still around? Reminds me ever so slightly of the Londaxe in its obscurity, presumably its a bit better guitar? Shame about the gay Richie Sambora inlays though
  12. You better. How are the guitars? The blue one looks almost Mosritey, and the finish on the Guild looks very nicely aged.
  13. Think so, only briefly checked the forums because I have far more important things to do though But yeah dont anybody get your hopes up, James wouldnt make it so easy for us
  14. Thats the one. Chad90 perhaps? Nope, I didnt post it here just in case it is James and he didnt fancy it being posted. Not hard to find for yourself though.
  15. James, I think I just found either you or the previous owner of the Dipinto on le internets If it's you, you're fit. If it isn't you (which I think it isn't, I think it's a guy named Chad), then the guitar is nice and your identity remains a mystery.
  16. Yep, theres quite a few we're working on at the moment actually. I have one that pretty much just rips off Your Touch by The Black Keys, and a few others that also rip off The Black Keys We played a new one for the first time last night and it went down rather well, needs polishing though. Its called Moving Man (pronounced Movin' Man) because obvs I'm just so bluesy
  17. Eurgh, sound guys, the downfall of all my recent gigs Hole In My Pocket demo is now pretty much done, so here is the final mix I think it's done anyway. I must admit, I'm surprised by how well it turned out. I will hand it to Dan who did the mixing, his audio skills are as good as his beard (which is of adequate quality). [soundcloud] [/soundcloud] You're probably all sick of hearing this song by now, but any more feedback now that the mixing is done would be massively appreciated. Just got back from playing a gig tonight, we weren't overly satisfied with it but we must have done something right because the promoter has offered us some gigs in Wales I don't know where Wales is but I know it's further away than Middlesbrough so hooray.
  18. Why thank you, I do my best And yes, I do feel pretty badass. This must be how Bellorz feels every day. So many contrasting opinions, I are confusion now. Be gentle
  19. Band practice tomorrow, I shall give it a go and see which the guys prefer I take this as a huge compliment. Along with Bellorz, Dan Auerbach is my favourite vocalist, so cheers Massive props to you Harley, you were actually nearly spot on I now know the bit you were on about, and yeah thats the bit I'm indecisive about. I tend not to play it loud because the full chords as I usually play them tend to fill out the sound a bit more in a live situation, but I put them in for the recording just to mix things up a little and add a little variety. I can see what you mean though. Gonna need a think about which I use in the future. I was actually planning on playing those parts with the fuzz pedal, which does sound somewhat more preferable, but alas time constraints put an end to that. But still, massive props for tabbing it so closely
