  1. I just don't think they'll ever revisit it. Even Ashamed and Yes Please had a good few years of live plays. Futurism had one poor performance and that's it.
  2. When did they release that gig?
  3. Nice video. Sounds good too! Good to hear and see a live recording of one of the new songs.
  4. Locking this thread as the user is trying to start a pointless argument, muse_es_numero_uno is a duplicate account of the OP.
  5. I'm not too surprising given the number of songs using instrumentation that requires a lot more than three or four people and Muse's apparent fear about not getting things perfect on stage. Especially as stadium gigs focus heavily on the spectacle. We all know that many songs require backing tracks for strings, synths, backing vocals etc anyway. But to what extent? None of these comments seem to qualify how much and what is pre-recorded. Muse gave up the idea of writing songs that were practical live with BHaR, which really necessitated things like touring with Morgan and switching things up in Hoodoo etc. I can imagine songs like Follow Me rely heavily on backing tracks. The questions is does anyone really care enough to not see them live?
  6. Ah yes, that would be a suitably astronomical venue and plenty big enough.
  7. They got bored of playing old t shirts live?
  8. Ally pally is a bit small for them though...although it's just as close as Emirates was to me so I'm also happy with that Hyde Park or the Olympic Stadium imo. Maybe Knebworth? I doubt they will play demos songs but maybe we'll get some stuff off Showbiz.
  9. It is. I doubt Survival elicits the same audience response and Knights. Which bit of Survival gets the crowds jumping?
  10. I enjoyed it a lot. I think it's a high note to end on. But even though I am bored of it, I think most people enjoy KoC still as the big closer. Until Muse can produce a song with that energy and interaction I think it should remain closer.
  11. In the queue near the war rooms. They're both about the same size though.
  12. But they didn't sell at all, that's simply not true. I couldn't sell by spare standing for Emirates for more than £30. In the end I gave to someone I wanted to be there. Go and look at eBay - plenty of unsold tickets for the stadium. Touting only occurs because demand exceeds supply, and thus the market prices increases to reflect this. Playing appropriately sized venues to meet the demand undermines touting and ensures all the fans who want to attend the gig can. In order to truly meet demands for club gigs Muse would have to do 40 or 50 of them in cities like London. At small gigs as well, there's the issue of the guest list. The percentage of people on the guest list goes way up for smaller venues (i.e. the Fall Out Boy debacle). For a band as big as Muse that can sell 150k tickets it just isn't tenable to play clubs.
  13. The idea of Muse playing smaller gigs is even more ridiculous than the GL/Starlight thing. Matt, let me break it down for you. 1. People like Guiding Light the same way they enjoy watching Spider Man 3 and Batman & Robin. 2. Starlight doesn't belong at the end of gigs. It's not a big finale everyone looks forward to. Put Knights back. 3. Playing clubs is a great way to severely piss off the 85500 fans that didn't get tickets but did take the morning off work to try. 4. Play clubs is also a great way to simultaneously connect with your richest fans and fund the touts longing to milk them for all they can get.
  14. They do sometimes but you're able to contact them directly via email on the contact page on the main site.
  15. Nah, Starlight is old, and Survival is more relevant to the theme...
  16. It's slightly over by album track lengths but I doubt the 30 minutes is a strict allotment.
  17. Supremacy Panic Station Madness Follow Me Uprising Isolated System Survival That's my prediction.
  18. Free tickets aren't allowed to be resold under eBay's events tickets policy anyway.
  19. Ah, that was removed when The 2nd Law was released and the changed the website.
