MA series Manson or a Yamaha Pacifica I guess. There's a couple of Ibanez models that look alright too.

Maybe they have extra guitar tracks etc for beefy riffs to make parts sound bigger. I wouldn't be surprised. See how over produced and polished the live show has been since bh&r.

Oh I just pranked the main muse lot with a photo of a gold vinyl in one of the muse sleeves and said did anyone else get a coloured vinyl. It's pretty easy to wind up main muse folks.

Ha most of the stuff I bought or was gifted back in the Absolution era when I was at the peak of fan hood. The 12" have just been down to me building a bit of a collection of LPs. I've got some nice limited editions from Unkle and Jeniferever!

I've got the resistance 5.1 box set, the exogenesis RSD 12", the 2nd law 12", dead star/IYW, New Born/Shrinking Universe and then SFA/Fury, Hysteria/Eternally Missed and B&H which are all ltd edition clear 7" Dunno how keen I am to sell as I'm trying to build up a decent collection myself. But if any of it is worth anything then I'd be tempted...

If you're cutting or sanding it it's super bad. I believe it's banned in the US? If its just sat around its not so bad but it's definitely a good idea to get its sealed up. The particles are so fine it's really not good for you.

If you go down the MDF route make sure it's properly painted. MDF particles are up there with aspestos.

Not sure i'm a fan of mixing colour fronts with natural backs. Those two pics look like it should be two different guitars to me, but that's just my taste. If it were me, and it was black burst I'd probably try doing the back and sides with the same clear black you'd have at the centre of the burst and just have the solid black on the front coming out to meet the binding. If that didn't look right then burst back and front with solid sides. That said, the guitars Ant built like the one you bought with the natural back looked incredible so who knows!

I reckon it's worse, you've got a string that would be an E tuned up to a A, a string that would be an A tuned up to a D and a string that would be a B tuned down to an A. A heavier gauge string on a 6 six dropped to A makes much more sense to me unless I'm missing something...
